Watching "Where is Love" - seems like a good series so far after watching part of ep1.
So, if u guys plan on downloading it, you better start now while there are still seeds. I'm currently seeding ep1 since I noticed there arent any for it... _________________

he probably still can't accept the fact that's she's married and pregnant now....
But she's still one of my fave actresses no matter what.. Hirosue Ryoko is the epitome of the word CUTE..
I never liked her. It's that simple. I only liked Dekichatta Kekkon because Yutaka made her look good. Whether she gets married or not and is pregnant or not doesn't bother me at all.

I watched today the first episode of "Suna no utsuwa". Having already read the English translation of the source by Seicho Matsumoto (Inspector Imanishi Investigates, for those who can read it; one of my favorite translations from Japanese) I wanted to make a few comparisons. (BEWARE: some spoilers contained.)
Maybe because the English translator (Beth Cary) sought to push Imanishi as the old-fashioned hero and Waga as the typical villain, and the dorama version must be more from Waga's viewpoint. For example, in the book Waga is portrayed as heartless, hungry for power and with a "if I never saw my father again, it doesn't bother me at all" attitude. In the dorama, Eiryo remembers how his father used to walk with him as a kid when they wandered through western Japan.
The scene of the confrontation between Miki and Eiryo/Hideo appears at the end of the book (with some hints in the middle) as an hypothesis by Imanishi. In the dorama it is at the beginning.
In the original Hideo Motoura/Eiryo Waga enters the picture as an alternate chapter (1st is Imanishi, 2nd is Waga, 3rd is Imanishi's viewpoint again, etc.)
In the original text Rieko Naruse knew him already and aided him both in getting away from the crime scene and disposing of his bloody shirt. In the dorama they are strangers who meet at the crime scene and keep on getting on each other's way, obviously in a routine leading to love.
Name in original text -> Name in dorama (Actor)
Rieko Naruse -> Asami Naruse (Yasuko Matsuyuki - sexiness down from Mayonaka no Ame.)
Shigeo Sekigawa -> Yusuke Sekigawa (Shinji Takeda)
Eitaro Imanishi -> Shuichiro Imanishi (Ken Watanabe - man he looks so different as a modern-day regular guy)
Hiroshi Yoshimura -> Masaya Yoshimura (Masaru Nagai)
Sachiko Tadokoro -> Ayaka Tadokoro (Kotomi Kyono - gee, she gets even MORE attractive!)
Kunio Miyata -> Makoto Miyata (Yoshinori Okada)
Now I'm wondering how they will handle the change to the 21st century? In the original Hideo was able to create a new identity because American planes had blown to smithereens the original family registers in the government offices in Osaka during WWII.

yeah, it would be nice if they stick to just one title instead of coming with different ones...
Anyway, gonna watch ep10 tonight and hopefully ep11 will be released pretty soon. _________________
