Since you're watchin it, I decided to watch that one next
You think Pride was great?
on topic: Shiroi Kyoto season 2 episode 9
this is the best long-plotted twisted dorama i've ever seen
Pride is one of the best love stories I have ever seen. I mean, I wasn't a fan of the ending, but the way they played out the growing love was so awesome! And the chemistry between ALL the characters was perfect. Have you seen it? If not, WATCH IT!!!

Sounds exciting, Geez. Now Im excited to watch it.
If you hadn't been the one I got the show from in the first place, I would have been tauting it to you by the time I was half way through. I really think you'll like it.
Some quick notes on "The Time ofYour Life". Katsunori Takahashi (Salarayman Kintaro) is listed in the data base as a cast member. In fact, he just made a cameo apprearance as a guest musical artist. He did one song and was never seen again.
Two guys I want to mention for their strong performances were Furuya Ikko (the Father in "Dinner on Thursday" he again played the father in this one) and Ikkei Watanabe. Watanabe usually plays weasles, and it looks at the beginning of this series that he's up to his old tricks. But the writer asked for a whole lot more from him, and boy did he deliver. Two fine performances by two big time professional actors.

Watching Toshiie To MAtsu for the 2nd time around. Love it even more. My BF is completely hooked on his first time. We have to watch at least 3 eps a day. On ep 9 now!
Boy I did enjoy Toshiie To Matsu. I gathered up at least a dozen new favorite actors and actresses watching that one. Unfortunately (for me) it's still too soon for me to want to see any of it again. I watched it faithfully one episode a week for a full year... and that sort of takes it out of you.
It'll be interesting for you watching Matsushima in "The Time of your Life" now that you're rewatching "Toshiie to Matsu". She was a bit older, a bit more experienced, and a lot better as Matsu. A lot better. I don't like to rip young actors or actresses, but she was pretty much an empty space in "Time of Your Life." _________________

actually i have . and i did like it. but it's just that sometimes i get the feeling that instead of hockey it felt like an undercover fangirl cultish kimutaku worshiper club. And the flying nude Takeuchi Yuko was way over. but i got hooked by Sakaguchi's character
I just finished Lunch Queen which had a bit of an anticlimatic ending, which left me kind of unimpressed, and moving on to Kimi wa petto, because of the lovely Matsumoto Jun. But I found the first episode somewhat boring and predictable and I don't know if i'll continue watching... maybe is just a post-kim sam soon melancholy... I liked that series so much that nothing can compare right now... :/ _________________

Just started Golden Bowl....funny stuff.
It's always funny to see Takeshi Kaneshiro because my roommates in college know him because they went to high school with him.
Wow, that's really cool. I didn't know he could speak Japanese until I saw "Kamisama, Mou Sukoshi Dake" (hated this one, by the way. Especially the main actress, dunno her name. ). _________________

I just finished Umizaru Evolution. A show chronicling the lives, loves, and death defying adventures of a team of Japanese Coast Guard rescue divers.
Hmmm. So what to say about this show? Itfs rough, because Ifm not a chick. And Ifm not gay. And Ifm not 8. Soc Oh yeah, I know:
Hilarious!
There was no hoary old cliche this show would not embrace.
No melodramatic depth to which this show would not sink.
Watching this showfs attempts to manipulate its audiencefs emotions was like watching a particularly stupid five year old trying to manipulate itfs parents.
Sad, for the most part. But as long as youfre not the idiot childfs parentc sort of funny.
Hilarious, in fact.
Warning:
Do not watch this show alone.
Do not watch this show sober.
But if you and your friends are looking around for a show to watch while having an all night drunken snark festc this might just be the show for you. _________________
Yea... it took me three days to watch. But last night I watched like four straight because I got hooked. I dunno... I think I'm wired. But I only have the weekend left before work starts up, so I wanna squeeze one more in.
That reminds me, I have to write my review for Beautiful Life. So grand. _________________
