You're watching them side-by-side?! I really enjoyed Beautiful Life. One of the better dramas I've seen. I didn't enjoy Kamisama too much, except for Takeshi (>>soon<<) and Sonim's side story.
I'm gonna start Long Vacation today. _________________

Argggh. I'm breaking one of my rules.
I started downloading "Hakoiri Musume" because Iijima is in it, and because Yoko Maki is listed in the credits.
But the Fukada aspect makes me a little queasy.
Maybe the fact that it doesn't have subs will make it a bit more acceptable. _________________ Manga is to Literature

Well, if she lets me down, then its to be expected. If she impresses me, i'm still not going to vote for her _________________

Isn't she just like Yonekura Ryoko in the Plastic thing? Very upbeat and energetic. That's what made LV so enjoyable.... without her I could not watch it just for a broken version of Halu.

OMG I was just thinking that!! Her acting in LV very much reminds me of Yone-san's in Seiki Bijin! She's very funny and her facial expressions rock!
I'm on ep 6 now! A verra nicely paced drama so far. _________________

glad you're enjoying it. one of my favourite doramas ever! yamaguchi tomoko is quite an actress, you might also like king's restaurant as well too. she makes quite a charming chef in that series _________________

I on the other hand will not jump on the "let's slam Fukada" bandwagon. I join with the majority of Japanese who have put Kyoko on the A list of the Japanese movie industry. I can easily ignore her being miscast in her early vehicles by dumb producers and terrible writers.... She has a charm that obviously transcends those miscalculations since she rose to the top ranks in spite of them.... and I can see why. I will vote for her any time... Yippee.....

I looked that one up and I couldn't find a download. Is it an older drama? _________________
