Do you like Oringal or dubbed animes/drama?

for me I like both

Digimon is better dubbed in English then Cantonese when the voice is terrible and give them dordgy names however Indinal D is better in Cantonese/Japanese because Eng version sound horrible even the songs is bad in US (2 much black style Bang Head ) but i do like dubbed as well.

For drama is have to be eng stubbed, no dubbed series/movie turn out to be good w00t!

OMG! Original is A MUST!!!!!!!! When I watch video content, it's a very visual experience. If I even see a slight mis-timed move of the lips with the audio, it drives me up the frigging wall!!!!

You read my mind! I was fixing stuff in the thread and moving it to the J-ENT. In any case, it's now moved and you guys can carry on with your discussion. Smile

Original with subs. I like to hear the original voices of the actors/characters. Since it's really annoying when the dubbed voice's expression doesn't really go with the body language of the actor.

It's a no brainer: original with subs... Smile

A dub is still a dub, and unacceptable, no matter how good....

Original with subs for me all the way. w00t!

There is one exception I can think of where the dub was better. Cowboy Bebop's English dub actually had better voices than the original Japanese cast! Beaten

Gotta run with the pack here.

I need to hear the original actor's voice.

And since I don't speak any language other than English... I've come to depend on Subs.

I haven't been able to sit though any movie or TV show that's been dubbed in years.

Never mind. I shouldn't have risked bringing politics into this thread. Even for a joke.

Yup, it's the quickest way to see a thread go up in flames.

Reasons why I missed "GOOD LUCK", "LONG VACATION", and some other Jdramas that were aired in here because the dubbing sucks bleh and the worst is they're replacing the original names with english names Bang Head Bang Head why they just air it with subs? Shake Head I remembered what happened on Nodame last year....... they ruined it... Juri's dubber is ekkkk bleh good thing I already watched it when they aired it here.... same goes to 1 litre of tears....... Riko's dubber is Grumble
