I actually do like Coronation Street *hides* |
It's all good!
I have a friend who LOVES that show. I haven't seen a single episode myself so I have no opinion whatsoever.
I rarely watch TV. Only when I eat. So I'll watch Oprah (when I eat an early dinner) or Friends/Simpsons (when I eat a late dinner). That's about it. I catch glimpses have other shows whenever the TV is on and I'm passing by. Other than that I watch JDramas on my comp. That's all the entertainment I get. _________________

Right you are!

The only shows that I think can really be considered as dramas in England are those awful 2-4 parters they have on, Sunday evenings. We don't have anything really great like in Asia. Which is why I'll stick to buying/downloading my Jdorama/ TWdrama etc. |
Totally agree with this. I actually groan when I see adverts for those Sunday night things - they all look so terrible.
I'm definitely sticking with the far superiour Jdramas.

XDDDDD everyone has a secret, now we need an Emmerdale fan or a Hollyoaks fan ne? XD
Eastenders always depressed me most English soaps do. We need some nice cheerful happy happy soaps XD.
Oh speaking of alternate drama I ordered the full series of Hana Kimi the other day I cannot WAIT to get it!!! I've seen the first 6 eps and I loved the manga, it is gonna rock! _________________ Anata no subete wo shitte imasu - MC KAMIYAMA

I used to watch it too! But then it got too bad - the storylines are terrible nowadays.
And Scrapped is right about 'Enders being depressing. Although I'd rather watch it than Hollyoaks - quite possiby the worst programme in TV history.

I'm a news junkie. So I watch CNN since I can't afford the more eclectic news shows like FOX and MSNBC. Although I have to turn it off when Larry King comes on.... Unfortunately he's on half the time now it seems. He's just too sugary sweet for my liking.
And of course I would die if I missed an episode of the Young & the Restless. They are family now. Watched them for about 15 years.
That's it.... everything else is channel 18 the Asian channel...even if I can't understand it, they become background noise while on the computer.
Naturally now that so many sites are springing up where you can download whole dramas without the evil slow as snail bit torrent, I'm spending more than half my time watching and downloading jdoramas while the feast continues.

Do any of you UK-ers watch Neighbours? It's STILL going here. But I can't stand it: I'd rather poke myself in the eyes continuously than watch it. |
i don't live in the UK but i've seen that show before... like 7 years ago or somethin... when Sienfeld, the Simpsons, and that tv series with jenifer love-hewitt, and some oldie show called M.A.S.H was airing too back then... that show was in the afternoon right? oh, i think it was also the time when Evangelion was aired on one of the TV station in australia??? with South Park too.
the near beach setting. all i remember was that big dude with the long curly hair . i don't watch that _________________

Oh gawd, Neighbours. I have seen episodes, but I felt used and dirty afterwards.
Haven't seen it in years now. I never thought it'd last this long...but it just won't die.
Oh, the "pop stars" Neighbours produced - bleh! One of the worst was Craig MacLachlan - his song (I use that word advisedly), "Hey Mona" is one I regrettably remember well.
