Haven't seen it in years now. I never thought it'd last this long...but it just won't die.

Oh, the "pop stars" Neighbours produced - bleh! One of the worst was Craig MacLachlan - his song (I use that word advisedly), "Hey Mona" is one I regrettably remember well.
bleh

gawd... i've never heard anyone say hey regret remembering a song...

it must be worse than that fish&chips song on Pauline Hanson...

A prime example! Actually, that's not a bad description: Craig MacLachlan is the MatsuJun of Australia rofl rofl rofl

The good thing is, if MatsuJun follows his career path, he'll drop off the face of the earth soon Dancing Dancing

You know what I've never gotten into Neighbours in ALL the years it's been on TV, it seems it's been airing nearly as long as I've been alive!!! I used to be a Jason Donovan fan Shocked (I'd like to point out... I was 4... and impressionable) XDDDD I remember my parents took me to a conert I was so excited... I even learnt to play that "I close my eyes- aaah" remake song whatever it's called on the recorder ha ha!!!!

My sister watches neighbours. I used to watch Home & Away when I was about 10... which makes me wonder... is that show still on??? I haven't seen it for some time... but then I don't really watch TV anymore I just stick a dorama in the DVD player...

Oh and I'm feeling some MatsuJun hate here Sweat Bless him XD, i'm not really fan but I'm not- not a fan. After all I can't hate him thanks to HanaDan I got into Jdorama. (Then searching for HanaDan stuff on YouTube I found Gokusen... and then my dorama obsession spiralled)But this is the wrong thread for that so I'll shut up now, I've said my peace Bang Head

Yes, Home and Away is still running. It's as bad as Neighbours bleh

And BTW I don't hate MatsuJun as such - he's just an easy target. He makes it easy to poke fun at him. Also he does have his uses, he makes even the worst actor look good. Well, him and Tackey are both good for that hehe hehe

I was so hooked on Home and Away and for so many years it sneakily took twenty minutes of my life away every day ashamed then one day I just stopped! ^_^

I can watch stuff with MatsuJun in. These days though I find it hard to sit through a show with Tackey in (and Kame). He plays sweet enough characters but... I dunno... maybe he's TOO sweet it's sickly bleh

Or simply that watching him makes you want to stick a fork in your eye and wiggle it around just to remind yourself that you're really NOT as numb as his acting makes you feel.

I don't know who Pauline Hanson is, or the fish & chips song...I gather that's a good thing? Smile

I found the Hey Mona video (or just Mona as this YouTuber calls it)-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e2ZW_uTlhEQ
Watch it if you dare... Twisted

Some of the comments about it are unbelievable. It seems there are actually fans of Craig's er, singing. Shocked

Pauline Hanson was (is) an Aussie politician who was a fish & chip shop owner when she went into parliament. She started spouting racist comments, got booted from the political party she was in, then started her own. Eventually got jailed, then released, and was last seen on Dancing With The Stars Bleah

I had to post in here again, because last time I came by I said that I didn't like any American but recently there's one American show I've become as obsessed with as Jdorama... that's Heroes!!! I'm a Heroes geek! And Hiro (XD) is my favourite character followed by Peter (not that anyone cares I just wanted to share XD) Beaten

I know who she is now! It's just the name didn't ring any bells, but I'm sure I've heard about her before. She should've stayed in the fish and chips industry. bleh

@ Scrapped - one of my friends has highly recommended Heroes to me, but I'm a bit late now. Smile
It looks science-fictiony though, which doesn't tend to be my thing.

It's a pretty decent show. My sister has watch a few episodes that she downloaded (or that my cousin downloaded, something like that). I haven't seen an episode myself, but mebbe this summer...

Right now I don't have anything else except jdoramas and anime, because they're the actual breaks from everyday life. Doh!

I'm not generally into TV shows full stop but a friend asked at work if I'd watched Heroes... believe it or not she thought of me because Hiro was Japanese Sweat XD I told her know but I was interested in it... so she gave me a bunch of episodes and as soon as I started watching it... I didn't stop until I had watched every possible episode *shot*
Now she's getting me into some more good dramas not as good as Heroes though Mr Green but I have to balance it out I HAVE to watch a certain amount of Jdorama every week Beaten watched episodes 7 & 8 of Good Luck today ... for the 3rd time Shocked

Instead of Jdramas, I've been watching stupidly addicting Korean dramas. And Heroes. And wasting my time with old-school games and working (sparingly) on my site. Yeah, so no Japanese dramas for a while now and I am missing it. Sad
