Taiko fan here!!
In past years I've seen the various colleges (UCLA, UCI, USC, etc.) and local JACL Taiko groups play during Nisei Week... Great stuff.
BTW, the 23rd is a Tuesday. I think you mean the 21st.

No problem. I fully understand the disorientation caused by beautiful women.
Glad you weren't driving or operating heavy machinery. Could've been tragic.

Nisei Week is fun. I usually go for both days of the opening weekend for the Anime Festival and parade. I was in Little Tokyo last weekend and there's a lot of apartment construction going on. Hopefully that will make Little Tokyo a little more vibrant than it is now. |
for me...AX is what it is...i just got mainly for the exhibition hall....
there are crowds....cosplayers...
some cute girls here and there, and i actually had a chance to check out a few panels..q&a sessions, they were ok...
but it is all the exhibit hall for me, and i am going back for the last day tmrw.

No. I know somebody who is helping to organize the Anime Festival. Little Tokyo Shopping Center is where Mitsuwa is. It's not going to be in Weller Court this year. _________________
