I don't mind other people smoking as long as they're not smoking indoors in a public place. I don't want second-hand smoke. I'm pretty fed up with the 'smoking everywhere' policy in UK.
At least if one person drinks heavily not everybody gets liver damage....

i don't mind people smoking but i hate it when i'm eating.

i did the reverse once. in 2001 i went from a cold japan to oahu. i was wearing a nice warm jumper on the plane but soon took it off as i felt the hawaiian heat as we landed. it amused the air hostess!
