haha, you know how it is when you meet new people. and when they smoke you're almost buddies already (well not always hehe) just because you share something. and when you Drunk too it makes it lot more easier. not to disrespect people who don't drink or smoke, but the ones who do neither do look bored at parties at the bar/pubs etc. in fact, the "smokers corner" at a party, usually outside on the balcony or garden is the most enjoyable place to be.

Now I mention drinking, how can you forget the peanuts Good nothing beats that combo.

I don't mind other people smoking as long as they're not smoking indoors in a public place. I don't want second-hand smoke. I'm pretty fed up with the 'smoking everywhere' policy in UK.

i did the reverse once. in 2001 i went from a cold japan to oahu. i was wearing a nice warm jumper on the plane but soon took it off as i felt the hawaiian heat as we landed. it amused the air hostess! hehe

Half Chinese and Half Filipino... but been here in Southern CA since I was 14, born in the Philippines though. I also have an English first name, and an Italian last name (I do have a Chinese name though, courtesy of my Grandfather)... so hey, go figure. But like most everyone else here, I wish I was in Japan as well!!

Born in Philippines, but grew up here. I guess you can say I'm Americanized, but I'm now trying to go back to my roots.
