the more i watch of the anime...the more i am convinced there should be a live action Eyeshield 21 ^_^

there are already a bunch of live action sport dramas...why not a football one?? i'l love to see it!

that or Slam Dunk...was there a live action Slam Dunk? why do they turn sports animes that i can't stand into live action shows, but not ones that would actually be frikkin fun to watch?

Have not read or seen both Eyeshield 21 and Slam Dunk.....gotta check it out

Is Slam Dunk anything like REbound??? if so, I think it has great potential to be a good drama to watch

haven't seen rebound, so i can't tell you how close it is....i'll look around for Rebound and let you know

slam dunk isn't for the weak of heart...there are over 100 episodes and 4? movies (i'm probably remembering wrong)...but they are up at boxtorrents, i believe... its a great show tho ^_^

Eyeshield 21 is pretty new, you can find fansubs of it on Animesuki...its up to episode 11 subbed now... i rewatch them all the time. the characters are so much fun! i'd love to see them translated into live action people ^_^ i know some people i would cast, but they are way too old to play first year highschoolers...i'd just cast them because i think they are funny ^_^

Yuki played by Matsumoto Jun even if he isnt quite pretty enough
Kyo played by Hideaki Takeshi
Akira played by Fujiki Naohito (seems like the guys from Antique are making a strong appearance)
Hanajima(her psychic girl pal) Esumi Makiko
Uo-chan(her gang member girl pal) Yonekura Ryoko
Hatori-Yutaka Takenouchi

Will add others as the come to me!

I listed it too as a good anime for turning into a drama.

But it would be hard to beat the anime.

i don't think Slam Dunk is too good to turn into a live action...actually, its one of the few animes that could successfully be turned into a live action show!

think about it...it doesn't require tons of special effects, its very character driven...its got lots of action!

it wouldn't be exactly like the anime or manga (thank goodness...because i can't stand shows that are exact replicas of the original material)..but there is a lot you can do with the characters!

it would be a lot less cheesy looking than a live action EVA or Fruits Basket would be...special effects aren't the forte of japanese drama shows...

I personally think Hellsing is gonna be a great live act. And doable. The technology used in making Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel can be used in Hellsing. Ofcourse with added gore and enhanced special effects for Alucard's supernatural power. I'm sure it will be successful know there are many vampire lovers out there.

who have watched Initial D live action? just wanna know how was it, coz all movie reviews i seen before they show the movie is about their comments with Jay Chou's and not a comparision of the manga / anime and movie itself. hmm.... me wanna watch live action of evangelion or Kanon or Candy Candy or even Love Hina ? cant think of any at the moment since I saw lots of the dorama nowaday are live action anyway. errr if they make Fruit Basket into live action, just imagine what they should train unless they are going to get some artificial or computerize substitute ) a cat, a rat, a cow, a tiger, a monkey, a snake, a horse, a sheep, a monkey, a dog, a pig... good thing they wont be needing a big dragon just a sea horse or something? .

welll how about if Yuki was played by Yamada Takayuki it might work but i still want Tsukamoto Takashi being Kyo Sohma he's hot with orange hair like his pic in those 66 artist in the homepage on the feature artists

yes school rubmle is just hilarious, but i don't think that humans would be able to bring in the same fun as the anime characters! btw who should play kurusaki-kun? Nobody comes to my mind that is as.....WIERD as him
