It is called Juusan no Tsuki (13 Months), the story of a man who knows that his life expectancy has been cut short due to illness. This is the directorial debut for Ikeuchi Hiroyuki. The movie also stars Otsuka Nene.

aaa.. kassy has a new movie? yatta...

i've watched him in "Black Night".. i think, his part is too small there.. coz, the major role of that story is not on him..it's more on the heroin.. opss.. i forgot who is she..aaa.. it's Asaka Seto.. hihihi.. and i think, Kassy looks skinny and a bit pale in it... i wanna see him in a genki-mode more!!!!.

well, the story is short too.. what to expect, it's actually a compilation of 3 short movies....

can't wait to see this next movie... i do miss him a lot

I've read that there will be a new movie where kassy will be in it. I think the title is something like "Into the faraway sky". I don't know if this is the official title of the movie. Maybe someone can confirm this..

I wonder what kind of role kassy wil be playing. I'm also very curious about the story....Hopefully someone could tell us more about it....

I have been re-watching all his old dramas and movies recently (because he doesn't have any new show)

Makes me wonder: Why is such a good actor not getting good major roles? Are all the directors and production studios blind???

There is just something about him that keep fans of him still continue to support him after all these years. Even though (sadly) all these years, he wasn't getting any good roles (after the yr 2001, his acting career pretty much go downhill).

Some people watched a drama and love the actors/actresses in it.

For fans of his, I guess most of us searched high and low for his shows and end up loving the shows just because he was in it.

Sigh.... I wished he will get better major roles (and please, no more love victim) and more opportunities. What a hansamu face, what a good actor... why put to waste?

And also, wish that his health will get better and put on more weight.

Hope to see that pretty smile again from him.

I will wait.... even if it takes forever.


PS: He will be appearing in Honey and Clover (the popular manga), scheduled to broadcast in Jan 08. Seemed like some supporting role (again?!), as a playboy kinda role. Saw pictures of him while making this drama, don't look very good as in he looked sick... sad... I wish I could fly to Japan to take care of him.

Just guest appearance. He is acting as the adult role of the main lead (a young boy who is quite cute).


PS: Why is he always either supporting role or guest appearance?!!!!!! argh!

the band was form during the days of 1999 - 2001... they went to taiwan n throw a mini concert then. kassy really rocks the whole of taiwan when he was there. it was phenomenal.

yep.. it's made up of him, shunji (his bro) and 2 other guys.

Kassy was the main lead singer. (thou I felt his singing was not as sexy as when he talks... listening his talks is enough to make me go crazy)

they had 3 albums (if i'm not wrong)

the style of their music was kinda like Oasis (the UK band). abit soft rock kinda style... (i like the style of the songs... but again.... kassy is really not a professional singer... haha... better stick to acting.... if u haven't heard him sing b4, go and watch Hakusen Nagashi, in one episode he sings karaoke n i almost laughed till i drop... haha)

Yes there is. The newest one with him as the lead is a movie called Shukumei. But it's also not very new. Its was in 2004/05. He played a policeman. Very sexy. Haha.

Meanwhile, as I have mentioned above, he is currently filming the dorama Honey & Clover (unfortunately as a supporting role). (due to release in Jan 08)

He has completed a short mini movie called Gotaisetsu. It was originally a radio dorama, but NHK made a mini 35 mins movie out of it. Kassy is the lead playing a priest. (a very hot priest, in my opinion. haha) This is due to release in Jan 2008 (if I am not wrong)

After Honey & Clover, heard that he will be appearing in a horror movie based on a famous novel. Unsure as to what role he will be playing though. Suppose to release in Summer 2008. (waiting for more news about this)

Also, heard that he will be appearing as a guest appearance (again... but better than nothing) in a movie due to release in spring 2008. He will be playing one of the 8 (or 9) suspects in a murder case. (oh, his brother Shuji will also guest star in this movie)

oh btw... I have to agree, he got the act and the look... i'm also wondering why he is not appearing much on tv... perhaps he's old already? Or maybe that assault case which happened 3/4 years ago has hurt his reputation badly.
BUT anyway all along, he isn't very popular in Japan itself... in comparison to his popularity outside of Japan especially China and Taiwan.

i only watched the first 15 mins of that movie. Bad subtitles just ruined my mood
