YEs Japan is always a tempting place to live..I just can imagine if I live there...Everyday new Game,Jdrama,Jpop and lots lots of stuff...not to mention DA GIRLS Omoshiroi ne Nikko kun

living there temporaily (a year or less) is different than living there forever. and plus, they don't just hand any regular joe's a residence visa. _________________

Actually, even tho I'm asian myself, I didn't even like asians, growing up in miami EVERYONE is either black or hispanics. There weren't much asians there. It wasn't until I lived in JPN before i thought "hey, she looks preety good, oh this other one is hot, there goes a cutie....." But mine is the bomb. LOL yeah that's my #1 reasonfor going DA GIRLS true every has a prefrence my prefrence is asian i don't find the typical 'big breasted blond' attractive much...... BTW my college is mostly asian population.... its heaven on earth for me!!!!!!!

I think it is very true that the most of Japanese are very friendly to aliens. But Japan is homogenous country and it is very hard to penentrate into Japanese society.
Japanese' Honne(�{��) and Datemae(立�O) stuff make aliens life in Japan very hard...
To have good understading of Japan and Japanese, I recommand this book. The Chrysanthemum and the Sword by Ruth Benedict. This book is bit outdated(written almost 60 years ago), but it is a classic.
