Anime: 1. Onizuka 2. Murai 3. Uchiyamada (Cause he's just so funny with that Cresta-talk) Live Drama: 1. Fuyutsuki 2. Onizuka 3. Miyabi Had a hard time picking those since everybody's great!

You say you watched the first 2 special eps? I thought there was only 1 special episode...

My main question is, where does the special episode[s] fit chronologically with the rest of the series? Should I watch it after the final 12th episode?

keyword "SPECIAL" hehe i know it doesnt go with the original anime at all if it did then would there be a point in recreating it? becuz Onizuka did some crazy stuff in the anime

The GTO live action, drama special and movie did stray off of the anime story quite a bit. The GTO movie is completely different from the anime. As for the GTO drama special, they did introduce the genius girl (forgot her name) which is part of the cast in the anime although they changed the story quite a bit. Havent watched the drama special yet, just did a quick browse. _________________

You can consider the special the 13th episode, watch just after the 12th, to me it is nothing more than a normal episode, and I liked it.

And the movie is like the 14th, only it IS TERRIBLE! I am sure this was just a "let's make a quick and cheap cash on gto while it's hot!". But the series+special is worth it all.

I don't like the movie. I was forced to watched because of Tanaka chan and Norika Fujiwara. I hope they should put a sequel in this movie. I wanna know what happen to onizuka and fuyutsuki after putting a hole in onizuka's condom a naughty deed by norika chan

The ending of GTO Drama Special seemed to be cut off [from the jtv version that i watched]. I was going around random sites and some sites say that the GTO Drama Special is actually 2-Hours long and it comes with a little bonus to it. If so, I hope jtv releases that.

does onizuka on the show was he a ex motrocyle gang member nad does he most of the stufflike on the anime? this kool i am currently reading gto 14 and 15 they are so kool especialy number 15 i don't want to say if you want to read cause its so kool what he does!

I would have to agree with the thread. I loved the series, I loved the Special but the movie I did not like. Maybe if I say the movie first I would like it more but I was unhappy with it after watching the great Special.

Watched the movie before I got the special ... always was wondering what that phone call at the end of the special was for .... Didn't read anything about it before However the movie really was some kinda lame

I have to agrre that the movie was kinda of a letdown compared to the series..the special wasn't too bad Anyone know if they will being contuing the GTO Live Action franchise?

It's unlikely they will do a sequel to GTO. It's been nearly 6 years since the original was released.

I'm a huge GTO fan, but the Special was pretty mediocre IMO. There should have been more closure in the Special. The movie should really be viewed as a separate thing, kinda like Escaflowne and Escaflowne the Movie. I didn't like the movie, but I recommend people watch it just for Rena Tanaka. She made up for all the bad things in the movie.
