Yes......a stupid thing he did indeed.

He could've been a big factor in PK.
Headbutting someone in the chest because of some exchange of words is very unsportsman like Shake Head Shake Head

I agree France played the better game for me. What a bad note for Zidane to leave on Shake Head
This WCup....just speechless, just great, by far more exciting that last time. Another four years....I need more soccer in my system XD

yay. italy win.
france played a much better game in the second half and the rest of the game.
at the last moment, we've got to see zidane retiring with a spectacular style. this will be talked about for years, considering he's good form since quarter final against brazil
anyway, conratulations to italy, and sadly for france, many of their players will have no chance to try again in the next world cup.

yeah that was burn.....sucks to see him end it by getting sent off....the French played much better the second half and they dominated the overtime....an ending that didn't reflect the true nature of the game.

YATTAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!! WIN TO ITALY!

Yaay, choo happy right now!!!! Dancing Dancing Dancing w00t! w00t!

As for the match. It wasnt the kinda match I hoped it would be, but well both teams made a goal on the first half, and after that their pace slowed a little.. French players seemed really tired, and they even had to take of Ribery and Henry... then Zidanes headbutt Shake Head I mean why did he do that..? Ending his world cup career to that kinda incident Shake Head The thing i wonder is what the heck did Materazzi say to him? Sweat Stupid thing from Zidane anyway... Oh rite, he didnt even come to take his medal Shake Head

Italy sure celebrated!! they even cut Camoranesi's hair!! hehe Well, he looks good with shorter hair too Mr Green Wahh, Im so glad its Italy celebrating w00t!

You rarely see Zindane losing his cool, and this was about nothing it seems (to us) of course materazi could have said something really ugly to him, we don't know. still it doesn't justify to headbutt someone. at least hit him in the face ? rofl and do it right haha.

I do understand when you're behind a goal with no time to play, or when you're constantly being fouled and get irritated about it. oh well. when I saw Zidane being send off I thought that France would lose the penalties. They weren't even badly taken.

grats to the azuri I guess. all in all this tournament has been disappointing for me. The last one was crappy too, but the revalation in the form of S-Korea made up for that.

The referees destroyed this tournament IMO, up to the quarterfinals, after the Holland-Portugal match things were being judged totally differently (as in barely no yellow cards were given anymore) and we saw some decent flowing matches.

the referees sucked donkey's ass...and this tournament only proves the point...the referees need to be able to use replays on questionable calls because their judgment is sorely lacking.
