Hmm.. My money would be on Croatia.. But expecting a tight game..

Holland v Russia would be a good one to watch.. I hope that the teams won't alter their playing styles that much since its the knockout stages..

Italy v Spain is too tight to call.. As much as I like the Spanish play, I think the Italians would end up as the winners.. Anyways, interesting days ahead!

Russia totally outplayed the Netherlands. The Dutch counterattack evaporated. The Russians had many more credible shots on goal. They definitely deserved to win that match. Hats off to them.

Yup! Russia demolished the Dutch! Holland struggled against the Russian attack and Arshavin was brilliant..

All the teams that played fancy football till now (Portugal, Croatia, Holland) have been eliminated.. I think the fate would be similar for Spain tomorrow..

I wouldn't bet against a Germany - Italy final now.. But this Euro has been brilliant so far.. If someone like Arsene Wenger says that this has been the best Euro competition, who am I to disagree? Wink

Yup! They have shown that kind of attitude in this tournament.. I'd like Spain to win the cup, but not going to say that.. All the teams that I liked are out! Sad

Expecting a Germany - Spain final (hope it won't be the exact opposite)!

All the best! Thumbsup

I too would love to see them win the cup, given the massive talent that they have, and shed the big choker/underachiever tag that they have!

ILm really happy for "my" german team. Smile

As soon as there is a football cup, the Germans show some flag for there own country (you can see cars driving with germany flags everywhere xP).
Since the people are often not too hot blooded, football cups are really something you can depend on (Worldcup in SouthAfrica yahoo)

I think both Quarterfinals will be very exciting.
Germany will hopefully win against those struggling turks that have made a surpreme job till now...
And i think Russia will kick Spain out with there offensive affords.

Well... u canLt predict who will win this, and thatLs great, isnt it? Victory! Peace!

True.. Can't predict who's gonna win the cup, but I would not write off Turkey against Germany.. And I am sure that neither Ballack or Louw would do that either..

Turkey was great. Poland could learn from them.
I'll be for Spain tomorrow.

In the last World Cup he shot the first goal against Costa Rica. Victory! Peace!

Lahm is a good player at full back.. Like you said, he consistently plays well..

Turks can be proud of the way that they have played in this championships.. Yesterday's match was good, but was spoiled by the 3 disruptions during the second half.. Angry

The Spanish must be the favs given their last match performance against the Russians + the Russian defence is not really solid.. But on the other hand, Russians have been brilliant going forward..

I'd love to see Spain win 4-3 at the end of normal time hehe

Spain destroys Russia in the 2nd Euro semis.. Was expecting a tighter contest, but nevertheless, Spain are in the finals.. The match conditions were horrible though, with the thunderstorms and rain!

What a mouthwatering final we have got!! Spain vs Germany w00t!
