Yup, it's not! But I have self-control... I can sit down and watch others eat without being tempted to eat... It's the only way to train my self-control, determination and to lose some unwanted weight! Wink

I'm Swedish and I have no ties to Japan what so ever. Maybe that's why I find it so interesting. Everything is so very different from where I live. Big Grin

I don't know what I am classified as.

French + Indonesian + Chinese = Me.

Like the guy above, no matter how much tanning I do, I just will turn brown for like 2 days then the skin will take off by it self and replaced again with new one. I hate it since in many occasion, I appear whiter than the girls and they start comparing.

For those that are in this forum, i just want to get a sense of who are these people that comes here. So I'm just trying put out a quick poll in seeing what everyone is. Nothing scientific done here, just something to satisfy my (and others here) curiosity. Incidently, not to offend anyone, I put the others down there as a "catch-all". I guess I can start on myself:

Even though, I'm american living in the U.S. now, I was born in hong kong, so that makes me chinese. Next...

I'm half filipino (forgot what type, my dad's side) and half irish (my mom's side). Born in Hawaii, USA.

I'm 3rd generation filipino in Hawaii... My grandfather on my dad's side came to Hawaii in the early 1900's to work in the sugar cane fields, then later became a barber for the U.S. Army at Schofield Barracks.

My mom is originally from New Hampshire. Both of my parents went to school in Massachusettes, my mom went to Boston College, my dad went to MIT. They met at a mixer in Boston, got married, then moved back to Hawaii.
