Must have gotten out the nuclear powered dredging machine to bring up this thread. Once I hosed off all the moss and seaweed and could see what it's about, the answer is: no
Roflmao!
I've never met J-celeb either. Not really much chance of it in England.

If Juri-chan visits England again, you might.
Lol, yeah, if she decides to visit Birmingham.
Can you imagine though, if you did see her in public? She seems so shy, you'd have trouble getting a word from her, much less an autograph.

Yeah, about as much chance of her coming here
The thing is, most Japanese celebs (even massively popular ones in Japan) would be totally unknown to 99% of the population here, so you wouldn't even know if they were here.
Someone like Ayumi Hamasaki could walk around Sydney and almost nobody would know who she was... Or any of the fruityboys like Tackey or MatsuJun... nobody would know.
Maybe that's why they don't come... they would miss the attention

Actually if you ever watched Kagayaku Onna, she went up to a guy and asked him his name (lucky bum):

LOL.
Maybe he'd have a retroactive heart attack...
Lol! Sadly, the chances are that that guy will never know who Ueno Juri is.
Jdramas are not widely watched in England.
I only came to know about them myself through digging round on the 'net.

I've met Yuna Ito once, in Hawaii. She's very sweet and cute.
I dunno if you guys have heard of Sweetbox, but I met the lead singer, Jade, at my kuya's wedding (she sang during the ceremony). She's not Japanese but she's pretty well known in Japan for her group's music. _________________
