Ooh you are a good guy z123????? Nice to know. I think there are a lot of good guys out there, it is just a matter of finding the best match for me. Right now, I am not really looking. Single life without anybody to answer to can be fun. I really do believe that there are no coincidences in life, so if I were to re-marry it would be because of a deep karmic relationship from my past that would bring my husband to me. Every relationship is about learning important life lessons. I learned a great deal from my former marriage and I am learning a great deal by being single. Being alone doesn't mean that you are lonely. There is wisdom in every life experience if you are willing to see it.

Ah, they're looking for someone to continue the family name.
As for me, I've said this before, but I couldn't be happier. I guess it's all in the person.

Yes, Single Life can be fun, again. I am learning this after my breakup. We all learn from our last relationships and the important life lessons. I think we can look back on our own memories and cherish them, but at the same time realize what went wrong in the relationship and move forward from it. And we look forward to a bright future, even when things look dim now. Yes, I fully agree with you that being alone, doesn't necessarily mean that we are lonely. And i am willing to move forward and see this as a life experience, despite the pain it caused. I think being a single person, now, has taught me to learn more about myself as a single person, to enjoy singleness again, and to look forward to dating again.

hmm...
even im getting tired of myself... |
sounds like this girl is too much to handle...you put up a lot of sh*t with your ex-gf....
sometimes you got to bag the relationship and cut your losses...
you want to be with a girl that is supportive of you and your life, as you are with hers, not a girl that would bring you down to sh*t.
Girls that are into the "BLING BLING" a total turn off for me, they may look good now, but deep down, i cannot afford that lifestyle, and it isn't me.....
and in 10 years, how different is it going to be with them, if you choose to marry this type of woman. driving the benz, wearin the rolex, and going to nice places spending lots and lots...
just not my lifestyle.

just not my lifestyle. | one of my friend (who is a girl) says that in order for her to get married, the fiancee has to give her a ring that is at least 2 carot, whatever clarity, etc, etc. to the tune of 8 to $10K. she justify that like "if he really love me, he would give me that because one can give a cheap ring to anyone." I told her that why don't she aim lower and save some of that money for something else.
when i was in the military, it took me damn near 5 months to save up for a $1000 ring in the PX and to this day, if i ask my wife if she wants another one, a "better one", she'd say no, but she'd spend that money on traveling together. _________________

"My husband gave me a 1.5 carot one." "Mine was cheap for $5K". "Girl, he isn't worth it he is only giving you a ring for $4K" etc. It's usually at this point I say, "Good lunch y'all, I'll be back in my cube." |
Well, to be fair, guys do the same thing.. except we talk about horsepower or the hotness of our ex's.

Cause i can get a 2 ct Diamondite for about $200, that should be at least worth a little banging around. | dude, i' don't know man. Me understanding jewelry is like michelle kwan getting a gold in the olympics, it just don't happen.
I sort of hinted that if i was going out with anyone of them and what would happen if i gotten a ring from the pawn shop? i got this "Ewwww" kind of look from all of them. "What if it's fake?"
Call me retarded, but i was in the marine corps. usually there is NOTHING outside bases except for the following: Bars, strippers joint, tattoo parlors, and PAWNSHOPS. I've been to pawnshops before, so i know that they have good stuff there. if it is just cubic zircona, they would not have it. And plus, you can just pay a fee and get it certified. _________________

Dude she sounds "high maintenance," 'cause that's what my ex wanted.
And got.
Luckily, I got that thing back.

yeah, that's the kind to look for, and avoid the high maintenance ones...
if they are going to be into that bling bling, then you will have your hands full, even if you can afford her lifestyle.
otherwise, it's better to be single and not have the maintenance of a demanding girlfriend/wife.
