yeah.. haven't been working out as much as i would love to. the house is just too high maintenance. he moved in like two weeks ago and we haven't actually set up shop yet. basics are there, but the office and the bedroom is a mess with all the clothes.

don't get me started with the lawn.

.... and thinking of what to cook for dinner.

(i haven't moved in yet, btw)

i gained a pound. hehe

well i used to smoke a lot too so i can empathize...but i daresay the green tea fraps are a tad better for you.....despite the caloric values.

i think people that work in the corporate world...are suspectible to gaining weight...

all those donuts, snacks people bring in, and who wants to workout after working your ass off the whole week....

unless you make it a healthy habit...it'll be tough to maintain one... Sweat Bonk

Recent polls over here do point out that when they raise the price of a pack of cigarettes by 1€ (roughly US$1.20 ) many people voted that they would quit.

couldn't say that about driving though, even though the price of gas keeps going up- more and more people are driving it seems. public transportation is rather crappy here, especially the trains (like in many countries) hehe

I happened to be in the US on the very day gasoline price hit the $1 mark. The scene was quite memorable with people queuing up, begging for, and fighting over what limited supply of per-$1 gas there was at the gas stations.
