I have that movie, but one of my friends has it, so I downloaded it and tried authoring it to DVD myself, with horrendous results. I might just try again tomorrow.

Define "horrendous."
It's just one file... Should be a slam dunk.
There was no sound. However, it was only after I deleted the file from my computer and the RW disc, that I realized that it was possibily due to my switching the a/v cords back and forth from each DVD deck and not putting the white & red ones in, but I don't remember if that was the case. That's why I'm going to try again. If the retry works, I'm an even ditzier person than I originally thought. _________________

Uh, how does the switching of cables affect the authoring?
Didn't you just download the file and subs from the 'net?

If you have the latest version of RealPlayer, you can download the videos of any site that uses streaming Flash video...YouTube, Crunchyroll, etc...600 MB files d/loaded in less than 10 minutes..
If you haven't been to CR lately, the list of Jmovies grows by the day... _________________

Yes, but I check the DVDs on the TV before I make copy the final disc, and I switched between the DVD decks and possibily just put in the yellow plug in, which made me think there was no sound on the DVD, hence me stupidly thinking it was a bad authoring job.

If you plugged the yellow cable incorrectly, you'd have no video.

Um, the video was there because I put the yellow plug in, as I stated. The sound wasn't there because I might not have put the white and red ones in, but I don't remember if I did or not. _________________

Wouldn't any of the other discs you tried at that time have the same problem (no audio) as well?
I only used it to check the movie that I authored and switched it to the other player afterwards. I know you'll probably ask, so the reason why I switched DVD players to view the authored disc is because there was a drama I was watching in the other one and I didn't want to lose my place. _________________

You'll laugh, I'm pretty sure. The costume design and locations throughout the movie add quite a bit to the film, especially for those who have been to Tokyo.

I just saw the new movie Silk and I must say Sei Ashina is absolutely beautiful in that one! I never noticed her that much in her doramas so I was stoked I mised such a beauty.
And now talking about the movie, I liked it but I was hoping a Japanese end for him...
