I don't particularly like him acting in HK movies except for Chungking Express, Lavender and Turn Left Turn Right. Don't know why though..

Have you see "Fallen Angels", Wong Kar Wai's followup to "Chungking Express"? I liked it even more than CE.

Takeshi's character was really funny in that movie.
The scene with the ice cream, and the scene with Charlie who wants to firebomb her ex's apt just crack me up.
