Ok, after some searching I can't seem to find a thread on the guy. So I decided to start one Yay, the first thread I started. I just thought that he was very good looking after watching Casshern, Yoomigaeri, and Akai Tsuki.

Yup, I didn't notice him until I saw Casshern I think he has this uniqueness in him, in kind of like Kobuzuka Yosuke's style

Good!! I thought It was only me who notice him..After all he was part of the guys in my previous Stalking Chart..haha..

He is actually very talented. He has been seen in some movies before Casshern. His debut movie was "After Life" directed by Hirokazu Koeda. He also starred in "Distance" with Tadanobu Asano. He also spent a year in New York to study theatre.

Aside from being an actor and a model, Yusuke also made a directorial debut in a movie that he co-written and directed called "Kakuto".
This movie also got invited into several International festivals and also received good critics. So there you go..he's not just some pretty face but also got tons to offer aside from his Tall build and good looks.

Yup apparently he does quite well with the actresses as well. His confirmed ex is Hirosue Ryoko. He had been rumored with Yoshikawa Hinano(She is current, i think), Hamasaki Ayumi, his Casshern costar Asou Kumiko, and Utada Hikaru (This one i don't understand )

The reason I bought Casshern was to see his acting and of course because I'm curious to see Kazuaki Kiriya's directorial debut for a big screen.

Yup, I've seen and bought the DVD of Kakuto. It was a good movie and I was impressed with Yusuke's ability to direct as well.

Wow, apparently he studied in NYU. So he went there before he was modeling or after? hmmm ... If after, some of my friends might have known him That would be super cool.. haha... how many degrees of connection does it take... but wait a sec... "has studied film at New York University" doesn't mean he was a full time student

Well, Iseya enrolled a film course at NYU in 1998 where he funded himself through modelling job.

hehe..so I guess he might done it part time back then bcs of his job. Hmm..I think in a way this is a good news..at least he can speak English right? or perhaps understand english

Hmm.. I know someone who was there at 1998 but she wasn't in their film school. Hehehe since he was parttime, chances of knowing him is slim to none.
Aka, do you know any sites with good info on the guy? I can't seem to find alot of info on him. Do you know any sites with good pictures of him from his modeling days?

He went to Cambodia or something and made some reports on it too..I think it was for Men's Non-no..Gaah...I cannot seem to remember.

Isn't Casshern a good movie? I liked it alot as well. Unfortunately, I have only seen Yoomigaeri, and Akai Tsuki other than Casshern of the many movies Iseya had acted in. Yoomigaeri was a very good movie although he only had a cameo as Aoi(Takeuchi Yuko)'s deceased lover. Akai Tsuki was a movie with Tokiwa Takako about WWII. He had quite a big part in the movie as Tokiwa's love interest.

yeah, not was the movie just good, but it was beautiful. it was one of the most prettiest movie i have seen this year. i will have to check Yoomigaeri then. i hope that he will start acting in more movies, i think he was really good in Casshern. The cast was perfect for the movie. I heard that the director (can't remeber his name, but I know he is Utada Hikaru's husband) is planning on making another movie.

So, I wonder if it is true that Yusuke Iseya is really dating Yoshikawa Hinano, I saw her act before and she alters her voice in a very weird way, I am not too crazy about that. Seems kinda weird.

I could hardly find anything about this guy online, and thats too bad bec I LOVE Yusuke Iseya. He was awesome in Honey and Clover and he just blew me away in Casshern. I even saw his cameo in Gaichu. ^^
