Really sad. It's a great drama and even the official DVD set is out of print. Found a few DVDs, but with only Chinese subtitles. They mention superior quality, but I doubt that's true.
Unfortunately, I think it came out at the time before all the high-speed internet connections started becoming available to the public en masse, so the demand for high-quality video wasn't there...

Yup.
You can see the Channel 8 logo at the upper right corner.
Yeah, i'm happy they are available because often times they are older shows that nobody would venture to sub because most groups concentrate on current shows which are littered with the "johnny kitagawa fondles my sack, and i can't act" crew

Not many reviews, but the ones here sound positive. Just downloaded it, can't wait to see it, few minutes from now the good times will roll, our Ryoko fans here said it's a must watch...or else!
PS- No posts for a long time, shame the older series get forgotten. _________________

I watched the first 2 episodes last night, itLs really funny and enteresting, Tsumabuki Satoshi and Abe HiroshiLs characters are really funny, the whole gay misunderstanding cracked me up and the explanation of all the 4 beatings Eitarou(Abe Hiroshi) received at the hands of AkiLs(Ishida Yuriko) father lolol.

Kaz I think you should make a sequel to this drama and have a Dekichatta Kekkon with Ryoko.
It will be called Dekichatta Too: Kaz no Kekkon.
^^ She'll go for that!!!! Episode 2 sounds good, just finished episode one, should be a law on how cute someone can be! Love how her voice cracks, whole cast is so good, was this Abe's first big role in a drama? :doh:Thought have that as I was doing this, don't think you can only do a draft.

Yeah that drama had an "all-star" cast...lots of famous actors and actresses who went on to become even more famous. It's a pretty funny comedy. I really enjoyed it many many moons ago.

Seems as though many enjoyed this moons ago, scrolled back to page 14 to find this. Guess I'm better late than never.
