So if you haven't heard: Kimura Takuya (34) will not be accepting his nomination for a best actor prize at the 30th Japan Academy Awards. Kimutaku stars in "Bushi no Ichibun", the third in Yamada Yoji's trilogy of samurai movies. At first I thought he was being Kimura and being far to smug for his own good and made this choice. From the SMAP boards, there is talk that the Jimusho is the one who made the choice. I have yet to see actual sources backing this up, but everyone's talking about it, so it must be true. So three things I gotta get across:
#1. Kimura still listen's to the Jimusho? No really, I thought after Kaorin and Shizuka and his girls that Kimura would always go with his own feelings in his future and not the agency's. If its true that the agency made this choice than I'm shocked that Kimura would bcak down on something so important to him. He's been talking about 'Bushi no Ichibun' for ages and is so utterly proud of his work. Shizuka recently said that she saw the movie six times within three days - - annnnnnnnd I don't think she's going to see a movie alone, right?
#2. The Jimusho still has control over him and it kills me that SMAP won't just walk away; BUT at the same time I'm a selfish bastard and I want my boys to be SMAP forever and EVER. If they walk away, than SMAP will be no more; simple as that and I know for a fact the jimusho would blacklist them faster than anything else and that kills me.
#3. Ninomiya Kazunari. His movie is all the rage and talk in the states and I constantly see his picture in the reviews and on tv. So, what if he gets some sort of award nomination as well? Would Johnny's make him do the same? Snatch away his chances for oversea's exposure? Because that is where Kimura would have been headed if the award went well, I just know it! He honestly can't get any bigger in Japan.
All you want for your idols is to see them succeed and get the recognition they deserve. And when their own agency prevents that, it's frustrating for the talent and I hope Kimura keeps his head up and looks foward to the future. _________________

well if nino does get nominated for an oscar than johnny's is truly stupid to refuse it. he couldn't get nominated for a golden globe because it had something to do with the film being in a foreign language or something.
okada junichi did get a newcomer award but it was a smaller one than the japan academy one. no johnny's member was nominated for the japan academy one except kimura. i don't think he wanted to reject the nomination personally but for over 20 years now no johnny's has accepted a nomination so maybe he doesn't want to step out of bounds. the artists are also not allowed to be nominated for musical awards. hmm maybe that's why i didn't see a single johnny's nominee for last year's mtv japan video music awards. so sad. i guess the company wants to keep the boys to dramas and album sales only. _________________

Yes, Takuya is surely care about his face, but I don't I don't think he's the type that would do plastic surgery. From the pictures when smap debuted till before he got famous, I think that he's naturally good looking. He said he always got scolded by staffs because he refuses to make up during Bistro recording.
Even Shingo had plastic surgery on his butt before....

actually.. im pretty sure takuya went for plastic surgery..
infact.. even before the media mentioned anything.. i have alreday noticed the change in his eye bags...
when i was watching Pride.. i got so upset that the problem with his eye bags were so serious....
however.. i was sure he would do sth abt them.. and in Engine.. it was clear the problem was solved...
his eyebags were not as serious.. he looks much better...
so.. im sure the reporters arent sprouting nonsense this time round... _________________

i personally feel that there's nothing wrong with plastic surgery.. i dont understand y the media has to kick such a big fuss over it....
they are just trying to attack my poor kimura over such a minor issue..
takuya depends on his looks to earn $$$$ to support himself n his family..
so its understandable that he undergo plastic surgery to improve his looks n prevent aging..
anyway..
90% of e korean stars also undergo plastic surgery....
and theirs are much more worse.. they looks completely changes..
takuya merely did such small chances to his face.. so i think its no big deal..
its not like he change his eye or his entire looks.. he's blessed with a good face...
so i support takuya's choice to undergo surgery to remove his eyebags...
what im worried about is the fact that his eyesight is failing due to numerous plastic surgery to his eye bags.. i do hope that's not 100% true because many insiders told that to the media...

Personally, i dont find anything wrong with plastic surgery especially if its to remove eye bags...ive got friend's mom who did it, so to me its not a big deal at all.....
Aint it normal for people to look good?

I'm trying to be as calm as i can reading all of those stupid rumors and news made by those stupid people and reporters, but sometimes that's just too much. I wish they will stop spreading rumors about SMAP.
