thanks. I am not familar with her, yet. But she is pretty and i have yet to see her in some j-dramas. anyways, thanks for the pictures.

I wasn't actually that big of a Jdrama fan. More on the anime side in fact. Then I started watching the occasional JDramas on TV. Started my mad hunt for more after that.

You can try watching Studio Oto's Lunch Queen and the movie version of 'Ima Ai ni Yukimasu'. Yuko's fantastic acting skills are displayed in these 2 dramas' opposite character's roles.

Well, I would reccomend Mukodono 2001, PRIDE, Lunch Queen and the movie 'Ima, Ai ni Yukimasu'...

Planning to grab hold of Shiroi no Kage.

Pride, my next drama that i would like to see, seems like a very good one, and from reading some of the comments, looks like a winner to me,

The show centres around here, and there isnt any romance to distract you from enjoying her performance totally:) One of my fave too

and like Fuwari said, you should really get Imai Ai Ni Yukimasu, simply because the show is heart-wrenching and the acting top-notch

i will keep that in mind about Yuko, "Lunch Queen" thanks.

she is one of my favorites! yeah, she was so good in Mukodono, Pride and Lunch Queen.

Grumpy Gene was comical at the start. But then when it slowly came to a closure... it started to bore me a bit about the talks on the Nagasaki dam...

But otherwise, Yuko was waaaay funny. And everything was associated with bugs. XD Specially loved the parts where she criticised the professor. Hahaha...

sigh working is keeping me from my j-drama and visting here:P

well getting back tot he topic, Grumpy Gean was in a way for me kinda dissappointing, coz i guess coming off Pride was kinda expecting the level of standard there. but it was still pretty entertaining although of a more standard jdrama fare. yuko-san was really funny playing her character in a over-the-top way. i really enjoyed seeing her antics int he show itself. so do get that show too=)

there's a show by yuko today! wow. i just realised it. it's on channel u for those who dont know.. at 11.30 i guess. i think the plot looks quite cool! but i cant watch it! wad the!!! argh. frustrated. okay.-not supposed to vent my bottled up anger here- so.. yupp. go watch it! for those who can! hopefully it's good.

yupe i accidentally came across it too. The title is Yoomigaeri, from a few years back. The story revolves around a town where the people who have died resurrected. Not really a horror story but a melodrama. wathced a bit of it but was a bit put off by the really dated look and the uneven acting tho =(
