Itai... I'll wipe my keys down every now and then, but to take them out...? |
I take them out so I can get to the area underneath the keys. Sure it's an area that my fingers won't be touching, after all I'm just typing, but it doesn't sit well with me knowing that there is junk underneath. Just don't like the thought of having the junk festering underneath.

That works for the most part, certainly, but after taking the keys and seeing some of the junk stuck underneath I wasn't simply going to leave it at that. Perhaps I'm just being anal about things being clean, but I figure taking twenty minutes or so every few weeks isn't that bad.

Eeek.
New rule: No eating near the keyboard.

i recently took up that rule. I was eating a egg and cheese bagel while watching some stuff, and my sunny side up egg yolk exploded out the back of the bagel and all over my keyboard.

well, fortunately, it was about 50% cooked, so it wasn't as runny as it could have been. I was able to lick up most of it, the rest i cleaned up with a stack of napkins and some toothpicks.

To make matters worse, I backed up the data files to a disc that is now unreadable also |
Recently, I got some dramas/movies from someone who used TDK discs and I've had problems with the discs stalling and blockiness. I really hate asking for replacements since they were kind of a gift.
So in other words, I'm going to try staying away from TDK discs from now on since I've been having trouble with them. These new discs and your discs, AD, just confirm that that brand just sucks. Too bad though since there's a sale on them right now ($26 for a 100-pack). _________________
