I've got a DVD which was successfully copied about 2 weeks ago, and I haven't used it since, just sitting in a folder of sleeves. But some of the files on that disc cannot be copied anymore when I tried it a couple of days ago...
Are there any special trick or program to copy the disc? I tried cleaning it with one of those cloth for eyeglasses, and inspecting it carefully, and it didn't appear to be scratched.

I would also try DVD Decrypter, which is free. I think ISOBuster had a free trial or something, but was supposed to be a paid program... (Tell me if I'm wrong. I downloaded it once but eventually got rid of it because it didn't offer anything better than DVD Decrypter, which I already have. _________________
Thanks! I tried both, but ISO buster reported bad sectors and DVD Decrypter said "Failed to read Sector 21588xx - L-EC Uncorrectable Error".
Does that mean there is no hope for it?
Well, you could let either program continue until completion (it might take a while if there's lots of bad sectors) and see how bad or good the final result is.
Also, you might try either of those programs on another PC: you might get better results or maybe no errors at all... Some DVD drives are better at reading bad/marginal discs than others...
