I just watched the first 3 episodes, and they weren't as funny as Trick 2. Man, I miss Ishihara. The new guy, Kikuchi, wasn't really that funny. Although I like how they make Ueda carry his car door everywhere he went. There seem to be more off-colour jokes in Trick 3.
I hope the rest of the episodes get better. Oh, I didn't know the landlady and Jimmy hooked up together. Haha.

yeah that happened in thetrick movie.. haha.. so funny.. their children sooo cute..!
I realise that it's better if you know some Japanese when you watch the series. Otherwise, stuff like that thing about the name of the village with the balding guys wouldn't be funny. The subs didn't translate that.
I just finished watching the drama. The ending is so cute. Awwwwwwww
Arashinokoto, I don't know if you've finished watching the last story. I was wondering if the guy called Yoshimoto in the last story is the guy in your avatar. He's in Gokusen, right? I couldn't tell under all that hair.

Won't spoil it for those of you who haven't seen all of it. I love Trick3. The humor is a bit different but still very funny but very difficult to catch if you are relying on subs or if you don't know much Japanese. I personally like this season, maybe not as much as the first two in terms of the mysteries etc but it does show a lot more of the two main characters. It is a bit more dramatic. As regarding of the two characters's relationship...you'll just have to watch it.

Hi Amrayu,
I've got both Trick and Trick 2 on VHS, but I recorded them on EP speed, so the picture quality is only so-so... To be honest, I'd say the picture quality is about a C... You might want to contact Geezer: He's up your ways (in Orinda) and he's supposed to be getting Trick and Trick 2 on disc from someone...

Geezer's not that regular a poster, but better than before since I started dogging him about his lack of posts... Nice guy (no surprise since he's a Ryoko-chan fan ) and is a pretty big dorama fan from what I can tell... I'll e-mail him for ya and check on the status of Trick/Trick2...
