And with Seikei Bijin and Trick, I really want to see them.

If you go back several hundred pages Rolling eyes , there's probably an episode by episode narrative with screencaps... Beaten

Probably.

But there's only 20 posts to a page, so you wouldn't get much out of it. Wink

Hey, I was wondering if anyone had seen the Trick TV special that was broadcast last week, and what they thought of it. I really loved it - it made me remember how hilarious Trick is. If you still haven't seen it, head over to d-addicts.com - they have the torrent, and I just added subtitles for it.

I know there are a lot of Trick fans out there, so I was surprised that there wasn't a thread on this yet!

What did you all think of it?

Yes, thank you very much for the subs.

As for the show, I liked it. Not as much as the Trick movie, but it was still good. It seemed like a couple plot points were recycled, but it was still pretty funny. The weird little ending was nice.

You got it!

And the usual cast of characters is present here, including wig-wearing-police guy, whose name I mentioned in the Trick thread.

I just finished the special today and I saw this thread!!
As usual, everyone in the show acted well. The episode was great and it reminded me a little of Jikembo of Kindaichi as Nakama Yukie had to solve the "trick" use.
Oh, I suppose there is going to be a Trick movie coming in summer 2006.

I think the reason they didn't mention what happened at the end of Trick 3 (see Cassius' post) is because if they had Ueda and Yamada hook up, it might ruin the whole sarcastic banter back and forth they've had for so long, or how he randomly contacts her to help him - they have that love/hate relationship thing going on. On one hand I'm glad they don't have them hook up, because then the series might go downhill or become boring, but on the other hand I wish they would! Although I think it's obvious that they care a lot about each other.

I thought some plot points were recycled as well, but the biggest one that bothered me (I'll try to be vague so they're not spoilers!) was the criminal's motive for the three murders. If anyone has watched Trick 1, one of the stories' criminal's motive is EXACTLY the same!

I thought Naoko + the alien was so funny, the best part of the special in my opinion.

Spoiler warning: don't read any further if you haven't watched the special!

The ending really made it look like Naoko lost her apartment for good. If the movie doesn't have continuity with that, I'll be REALLY mad. I'm sooo hoping she moves in with Ueda and they show it! His place is definitely big enough, and I think that would be great for the storyline!

My question is spoiler-ish, so don't read if you haven't watched the special.

Did Ueda and Yamada walk in different directions? I think they ended up looking for each other [or trying to]. I really couldn't get the last part.

And yeah, I really hope they live together in Trick 4, or in the movie. Smile[/code]

I, too, hope in Trick 4/ the new Trick movie they are together. Puppy Dog Eyes
