Channel 18.3 is showing One Fine Day. Looks like it starts at either 9:30 or 9:45 in the morning, I have no idea what episode they're up to. I caught part of it yesterday, now I know who Sung Yu Ri is.

At least they are showing recent 2 year old shows now. I'll have to check it out even though I have it on DVD in 16:9. I wonder when they will start broadcasting in 16:9 like the big channels do.

Yippee. Haruharu subs just released ep 23 and 24 of Swallow The Sun. What a great Xmas present. One episode left to go. Meanwhile, I've managed to sub the first 5 minutes of ep 25 copying the subs from the ch18 broadcasts. I think Haru subs will be released long before I finish.

until the ending totally destroyed it for me. I despise dramas where the star dies at the end unless it's from old age. That completely spoils it for me and puts that author into my never watch dramas by him/her again category. Too bad they feel compelled to spoil an excellent story with an unecesasry depressing ending.
However for sheer beauty, Sung Yuri was a vision (as always). The acting in Snow Queen was on a more professional level too than One Fine Day.

You're right about what you wrote in your spoiler, though I'm not as bothered by sad endings. Sometimes it's fitting. I'm not sure whether it was in Snow Queen, tho, considering:

Still waiting for the final episode subs for Swallow The Sun. While waiting I started Witch Amusement. This is a fun relaxing drama. I'm enjoying utmost.... no sickness, dying etc... just plain fun. Thanks Wyn chan.

Yippee.... Ep 25 of Swallow The Sun just released. Now I can finally see the final episode with real English subs. Kind of sad that this is the end of this great kdrama. This is so good you want it to keep going on forever... hmm could Sung Yuri have anything to do with that?
YATTA! Just finished Full House. It was a lot of fun! Dunno what to watch next. I'll have to go through what I have.
So I've seen only a measly 15 dramas, but I figured I'd share my top three favs.
It was hard to narrow down the boys, since, unlike Japanese actors, MOST Korean male actors are rather attractive and masculine.
Top 3 Boys:
Gong Yoo - Saw him in Coffee Prince, One Fine Day, and the movie She's on Duty. Great actor, sinful body.
Bi (Rain) - Saw him in Full House and fell in love with his adorableness. I'm not 100% convinced that he can act yet, but he made it on the list because of his smile.
Hyun Bin - Saw him in My Name is Kim Sam Soon and Snow Queen. I found him really annoying in Kim Sam Soon, but he completely won me over in Snow Queen. Both talented and easy on the eyes.
Top 3 Girls:
Kim Sun Ah - OMG! Absolutely HILARIOUS! I've seen her in My Name is Kim Sam Soon, She's on Duty, and Erotic Christmas. One of the funniest Asian Celebs I've experienced.
Song Hye Kyo - ADORABLE! She was great in Full House and I'm currently trying to find more of her!
Han Ye Seul - If you haven't seen Couple or Trouble... they you may not understand why/how she made my list.
Wyn chan, you may want to wait for Swallow the Sun. It's coming by the usual Canadian Air (ex-express) after going around the world or who knows where, but it should be there anytime now. lol.
I watched 10 episodes non-stop of Witch Amusement today. Thanks Wyn chan. This is the perfect drama for me. Comedy, romance, no stars dying, though I haven't seen the ending yet, I have guessed it by now and the most adorable female star in some time. I can see I will have to watch this several more times.

Wynter, maybe the 2003 drama SANGDOO, LET'S GO TO SCHOOL will convince you of Bi's acting talent. He plays a gigolo with a heart of gold AND a sick kid.
