Well, older compared to when? Are you comparing her recent pics with her Goong days? Then, yeah, she's older now.
But overall I don't think she looks old.

@brad2- Adored Bidam.

Was devasted by their destiny.
Loved all of it, costumes, actors, sets, scenery.
Didnt love the end but it was what it was.
The cliffhangers each episode kept it thrilling for 62 eps.
Cant ask for more than that. _________________

She certainly was good in that, Exhibition of Fireworks I also liked her in, have seen it twice. Haven't started Only You yet that also stars her but will in the next week or so. She certainly has retained her looks, subbed interview that's on YT.

Eve,
sorry for late reply. I have been meandering rather . Well Iv'e been sick
I am so glad you liked QSD. I think that Kim Nam Gil was the brightest thing to enter into that drama. He is such a good actor and even tho he said he did not really like the character he did a fine job. He hates being 'loved' for being Bidam. As far as he is concerned it was just a role. He has played much deeper and mre serious roles and he really gives everything no matter what the character may be.
Now he is in the army and I hope he will be taken back into people's hearts when he returns.
Right now I am in the midst of 'Sungkhunkwan Scandals' which is one heck of an emjoyable drama set in the Joseon period. Costumes are great and the actors are perfection. It is a sort of comedy romance with the harsh political background of the era. Very funny in places and charming in others. You would like the four young people who take the leads. Not just a teenage thing at all.

I've been watching "Playful Kiss" (aka "Mischievous Kiss") and enjoying it a whole lot more than I would have believed.
It's a romanticComedy set in High School, where a lovely, but clumsy young girl is in love with the school's too cool, too hansom, too smart super star.
The show doesn't spend all that much time locked in reality. She has a bit of the Walter Mitty in her, and we see some of the scenes she's imagining acted out. The kids in class who've formed a band will occasionally do a number. And I mean everyone gets in on the choreography.
I don't know. It's like watching a toy. Or a puppy. It's fun. _________________

I think a lot of actors dislike being loved for one particular role. Yet thats how they become major stars. Bidam's character had a real charm that I certainly did not see in Bad Guys. Couldnt get into that one. Just watched the first ep. The women were vastly annoying.
Happy that I will be getting in both 'Sungkhunkwan Scandals' and Geezer's recommendation Playful Love. Looks like some fun viewing for winter.

I think I got halfway through the third ep and decided to drop it. That main actor was terrible and the show couldn't keep my attention.
But just as a heads up, after the series ended there were some special eps that were posted on youtube, you might want to check those out after you're done with the show.

I could not watch 'Bad Guy' myself. I thought it was ruined by SBS. they messed about until the had no time to do it properly and then even had to shorten it and rush the end. At least the behind the scenes were fun with Nam Gil and Jae Wook.Tthey were full of pranks which must have lightened up the set.
Playful Kiss is the Korean version of the Taiwanese 'It Started with a Kiss.' I thought that version was horrific. Ariel is not my idea of a good actress and she played the lead like a Betty Boop. The lead man was most attractive and would be very sexy in any other role I think. Name of 'Cheng ...'
I am still immersed in SKKS and just about to start 'Secret Garden' which promises to be a wonderful drama. Hyun Bin and Ha Ji Won and a most intriguing Philip Lee. He is apparently going to be the next big 'star' in Korean dramas. Very unusual to look at but a good actor. the story line is fascinating and these actors can carry it off I think.

currently watching epi 3 of Secret Garden.....like this drama ....
Hyun Bin is so thin, like him better in Sam Soon drama

again this drama tells about love between rich guy (Hyun Bin) and poor lady (Ha Ji Won)
but if I read the synopsis,,later they will exchange body to each other
kinda like It's A Boy Girl Thing movie
nee,,,I think Lee Phillip is more kakkoi than Hyun Bin
I hope Lee Phillip will not be the antagonist,later... since it looks like in this drama he has a crush on Ra Im (Ha Ji Won), and kinda jealous if she nears to Joo Won (Hyun Bin)
btw I love epi 3,,,especially for the sit up scene.....
just got the sub for epi 4 from vikii,,,gonna watch it tonight _________________

I definitely can talk as much about korean dramas than about japanese ones, although at the moment I prefer the japanese ones. Until Parade I thought japanese actors are cruel in serious acting, especially in comparison to korean, but with parade and also Unubore Deka now I have to change this opinion a bit^^
Generally I know more japanese series and more korean movies I think. Anyway my favourite dorama-series is Chuno - Slave Hunters with the king of actors -> Jang Hyuk and this is a korean one.
Okay I don't really can say he is the king because I watched no other dorama where he played a role. Maybe because I heard his role of Lee Daegil was clearly better than these he had before.
Other great actors are in my opinion Kim Joon, Kim So Eun, Yoon Moon Sik or Kim Bum for example^^
Another great series is of course Boys Before Flowers, but there the real clue starts with episode 12 - really late -, until then I wasn't really satisfied.
Brilliant movies I recommend are 100 Days with Mr.Arrogant (the first dorama I ever see), 200 Pound Beauty, Moss, Blades of Blood, Romantic Warriors and Bichunmoo - Flying Warriors for example^^ _________________

I also noticed how thin Hyun Bin is in Secret Garden....almost to the point of being too skinny to be attractive. So far, I like this drama. Phillip Lee's English is flawless since he was born/raised and educated in the U. S.
