I got it from http://www.coolwin-video.com. I highly recommend her, she's AWESOME and has excellent prices. I got Bright Girl on DVD for $35 from her!! Super fast shipping too, even though she's based in Malaysia. Bright Girl is the only DVD set that is decent: Beware all the rest of the kdramas on DVD (that are carried there). They are all bootlegged and have horrible subbing. I haven't bought them, but I've heard constant ranting and complaints on http://www.koreanfilm.org. Bright Girl is bootleg, but so well done that I can't believe it. It looks PRO.

i got the soundtrack of that, its very good for people who loves classical and kpop/ballads

well.. it's kind of a generalization to say that all are like this, but this is actually a mix of popular themes in k-dramas.
typical themes in k-dramas:
good vs. evil
love triangle or amongst 4ppl
rivalry
some type of sickness (leukemia, eye disease, cancers...)
sad endings
misconceptions..
memory loss
parents not knowing that the child is theirs
switched at birth
poor turn rich
jeolousy
etc...

however, there are many that do not follow this and are comical and quite different, like Attic Cat, Success Story of a Joyful Girl, My Love Patzi...

they also have really good background music and scenery.

OMG, i watched the first 2 episodes, and im crazy to see the rest now.
so dramatic already!!! damn, its like a common thing in korean dramas, to see the lead actress/actor be in pain all the time. also the antagonist of this series makes me so CRAZY. she's EVIL and the mom too!!

Choi Jiwoo and Shin Hyunjoon are going to heaven.

The producer of SBS Drama 'Stairs to Heaven' has the leading strand on making 2 characters Jungsuh and Taehwa die at the end. The director of 'Stairs to Heaven' Lee Jangsoo says "Jungsuh, after getting blind from eye cancer, before she dies, she says she wants to see Songjoo... so Taehwa commits suicide to give his eyes to Jungsuh. But her eye cancer has spread to her brain so she leaves this world after seeing Songjoo one last time."
This ending for the drama was decided when fans was persuading not to kill Jungsuh and make her live in the drama on the internet. It was the producers intention to make the drama a tear breaker.
There was also a medical discovery in the ending. One of the 'Stairs to Heaven' producers said "I heard from doctors, when eye cancer spreads to the brain and you get a eye transplant its no use because there is no chance that you can live. So we decided that even though Jungsuh gets Taehwa's eyes she has no chance of living and so decided to end it with both of them dying."

This is the same person who made Beautiful Days. Due to all the fans complaints about the ending, he had to change the ending of Beautiful Days so that she would live, rather than the original ending to die. He's probably not going to give in this time because he already did last time sooo sad, songjoo has to lose his love not once (from the car accident where she loses all her memory), but twice (from eye cancer).
p.s. this drama is going nuts in soompi forums... there's like 120 pages so far and still increasing at this very moment i'm at the part where she gets hit by the car again and regains her memory and is about to get her revenge.. sooo exciting

Just my opinion, but I thought the acting was too forced in this K-Drama...Jang Na Ra is seriously just a pretty face, really can't act.

what episodes have you guys watched up til?
after downloading episodes 1 & 2 subbed by FOB and kdrama, i rented the rest of the episodes that were available here (up til episode 10 now, episode 11&12 coming out this friday!).
my korean friend translated it for me while we were watching it!

i've also heard rumors that since this drama is so popular in korea right now, that they are thinking of making 3-4 more episodes.
(instead of 20 episodes).
