Hi Hi,
I'm a newbie all right!!! My name is Shaunte, but my friends call me Michiko or Mii-chan. I live way down south in Georgia and I'm a PE teacher.
I like all kinds of sports (rugby and soccer are my favs). I've studied Japanese for a year, and I'm kinda still working on it I'm really big into video games and J-pop/rock. I like 'real life' animes like Azumanga Daioh, Kare Kano, and Hana Yori Dango (I call them real life because there's no magic transformations or their not out in space, it's just everyday happenings).
I'm really new to Japanese doramas because, well, we just don't have the opportunity to find any down here (even with satellite) in the south. The only reason I know of them is because I'm a big fan of SMAP
There's one that I would like to know more information about. It's called Koi ni Ochitara. I heard the ending song and really liked it, so I thought it might be a good one (especially since Tsuyoshi is in it)!

Welcome . My little chef was is one of my favorite doramas too...it was funny, sweet, and had very little moralizing or emotional monologues like a lot of j-dorama.... _________________

Anyway haven't seen a j-dorama in over three years.
The last great ones that I have on tape are Trick & trick2.
