Hello all. Yanocchi here. (^ ^)7 <--salute
Um, lessee.... I'm 20, live in Oregon, studying Japanese and Comparative Literature. I've been learning Japanese since I was *counts* 12 or 13, so I'm lucky enough to watch dramas without worrying too much about subtitles, unless I want my friends to watch them.
Favorite dramas..... Hana Yori Dango, Gokusen, Kimi wa Petto. And now, let's play spot the trend!! ^^; I'm a Matsujun fan, but I also like Narimiya and Tsumabuki (both of them were in Ai no Uta.) For actresses it's got to be Nakama Yukie. She was a great Yankumi (even if she turned out more girly than the manga version.)
I'm a bigger fan of manga than dramas or anime. As a rule of thumb, if it runs in Weekly, Monthly or Ultra JUMP I probably like it.
When it comes to music I like rock, ska, punk... Jackson Vibe, SOBUT, Mongol800, Sparta Locals, Shiina Ringo, Nana Kitade, Puffy AmiYumi.... There's also a few pop songs and fluffy upbeat stuff I like, but those bands are the big ones that I love.
Anyway, nice to meet you all. Looking forward to enjoying dramas together with you! ♥ orz
