Hello! I'm new! ^^
My real name is Marcel, I'm 21 years old and living in Germany (near Düsseldorf, where a lot of Japanese people live ^^). I'm studying English and Japanese at university, although my English skills are quite bad, because I got used to some mistakes (silly English teachers at school - they never corrected grammatical mistakes properly). My goal in life is to live and work in Japan for at least some years.
I like nearly everything about Japan (culture, language...). I was always interested in Asian culture, and my special interest for Japan started with watching my first Anime around 5 or 6 years ago. Some weeks ago, I started watching dorama and I find them more interesting than anime, because they are more realistic and you are able to learn some everyday Japanese from them. I'm not quite into dorama yet, but my favorites at the moment are Gokusen 1 and Gokusen 2 (Yankumi is so cute!). ^^

Hey I'm new here.
I'm a student from Los Angeles. I like Japanese music, Japanese dramas, Japanese movies, Japanese animation, Japanese manga, Japanese fashion, and even Japanese food. I guess I just really like Japanese culture.
I'm also aware of many negative aspects of Japanese society, but I think despite of those, I still like Japanese culture. Nice meeting all of you.
