For my opinion this JDrama really is cheap and a bit crappy. A bit too childish for my taste.

it's ok to voice out your opinion, the forum is meant for expressin the opinions. I was you like before, I had silly assumption on the series at the beginnin due to its cheesiness over anime to live action transition. When I watched the first ep, I was totally on hooked on the series I have enjoyed every ep, it gets better ep by ep. Now Sailor Venus has finally made her appearance, YAY! She's great! The team is ready to prevent Queen Beryl's attempt to destroy the world
I can't wait to see the last ep of the first season! Roll on 2nd season! I'm not forcing you to watch, you may give it a try. Then you know whether you like it or not. You might miss the good series.

Btw it doesn't hurt to watch "cheesy" series for a change Brains need a rest from the tearjerkin dramas.

same here, i usually associate sailormoon with pokemon - one of those i wouldn't want to watch but i gave the live action a try and its been a pleasant surprise. the effects/storyline isnt really my type but its quite funny to watch so i got hooked. Not to mention the cute cast. A nice change from the serious dramas i've been watching lately...

i dont really do this but im not letting this go...before u open ur mouth n talk bad bout me first of all, i dont intend to pick on fights n specially not to u, if u dont like the show then thats fine n mah bad if u took the wrong way.. cuz geez its kinda hard to tell my expression through the internet, in case u dunno i was talking politely n 2nd u asked me so i answered u back, is that what u call picking on u? if i was picking on u i wouldve cussed u out but no thats not my character.. im usually and most likely nice to everyone here..

anyway just finished watching ep.13.. hehe the story was cute when theyre at rei's pad for some reason i like rei's 'grumpy' expression

I absolutely can't wait until ep 14 comes out! Actually, i've been very worried that mamo-chan's turning evil in this series like the plot in the manga as well. I'm very happy to find out that he didn't and Usagi got into trouble instead.. hehe.. my perfect dream of a plot! ep 14 ep14 ep14!!! I also hope that they find out soon that Sailor Venus is not the real princess.. don't get me wrong, i love her character and person, it's just that, i hate it when they thought she was the princess...

So how many are there? Last time I asked I was told there were 13. Now 14 is up so anyone know for sure?

i think nobody knows for sure.. i mean why so eager to finish when we're just enjoying for more he/she probably said that cuz we had to wait for jan. 2004 for the next ep. and it ended like somewhere on mid-december. the raw is up now http://anime.mircx.com/ ^^

i also think its not fair if they finish it right away i mean look at kamen rider or power rangers, they have like over a hundred episodes and added sequels and such.. why cant SM be more lke that?

hey, i dont mind havig a long SMLA series. I jusdt remembered reading somewhere before that first season is 13 eps. It doesnt say how many seasons there are though. I saw an mpeg and an AVI RAW version of SMLA ep14 the other day. Thinking that the mpeg was subbed, i downloaded it but foundit later it doesnt have subs

It's not that I want it to end quick, it's just a friend of mine downloads them for me. I told him there was 13 eps so he has done eps 7-13 for me. He said he would just send them all when it's finished. So now there is 14 and no one is sure then I guess I will ask him to just send me what he has for now.

Since I'm a sentai fan, I actually like this show. If you've been exposed to other sentai shows like Hurricanranger and Gaoranger, you were pretty much expecting cheesy special effects and that's why it doesn't bother me. LUNA OWNS ALL OF YOUR SOULS!!! She's the Japanese version of Triumph the Insult Comci Dog

I don't know what happened to the original Artemis seiyuu, but I think Yamaguchi Kappei perfectly fits the role. Even though I'm used to hearing him growling in Inuyasha and sounding all rough in Ranam, I think he's doing a terrific job.

Anyway, according to the making of the live action Sailor Moon, a live action Sailor Moon has been in demand for some time. I think the series follows the manga very well in it's own right. The anime was pretty much mostly fillers.

The guys who play Motoki and Mamoru are in Battle Royale 2. I don't remember Mamoru's role, but Motoki is the kid who passed around the rugby ball on the bus.

But Sugimoto Aya is very popular and she's probably attracting lots of viewers with her popularity. I wonder if Bob Sapp will get a cameo on the show like he did with You're Under Arrest? I heard he just got a role in the live action Devil Man.

I think Sawai Miyuu is doing an all right Sailor Moon/Usagi. The director seems really harsh on her in the making, but he has high hopes.

I think the cutest one is Sailor Mercury/Ami played by Hama Chisaki. She looks like one of my former teachers but 10 years younger.
