Yeah.. I hate that Mio-Chan. Why did she return? I thought Materia/Mamoru killed her in episode 48... Also are the Shittenou alive, or are they "ghosts"? Another question, I thought Jadeite had chosen to be by Beryl's side when the spell was removed from him... why is he with the other 3 Shittenou? It also would have been nice if Nephryte remained being a human... would have liked to see a relationship between Mercury and him... Overall, it was a great series.

I think this is because... I suppose I should warn for SPOILERS although I think it can be assumed at this point in the thread ^_^.

When the world was destroyed and Usagi used the crystal to revive everything, everyone was transmigrated and therefore, I think, the Shintennou were reborn as there old selves. One thing I noticed about the series seemed to revolve around the idea of ghosts from the past wandering until they do want they need to die at peace:

Princess Serenity: Absolutely obsessed over getting Endymion no matter what. When the past life is finally over, she reveals her only smile as she fades away.
Queen Beryl: Similar to above, but instead finds happiness with Jadeite. Again, smiles before she dies.
Kunzite: Felt betrayed by Endymion abandoning the planet to be with the Princess. In the end, he died happy knowing that Endymion was going to take his own life to save the planet.
Aino Minako/Sailor Venus: Not sure the reason behind her angst (Act Zero maybe?) but she was definately consumed by the past life and would do almost anything to prevent it. Died happy that she overcame it and was able to be herself.

I'm sure there are other examples, but these are the most prominent and first that come to mind.

Great series and the one that introduced me to Sailor Moon. I'd recommend it to anyone who asked!

I watched it to the end, but in the beginning I didn't really like it. It was sometimes so stupid when the girls were fighting. I know, that that wasn't easy to move in those clothes, when outside there was really hot. I liked the Dark-Mercury scenes although I don't really like Amy-chan. And the end was really good, when Usagi was evil and destroyed the Earth.
I hated Mamoru (I hate him in the manga/anime too) and Mio-chan.
And the cats... they were so cute!
But one thing isn't clear for me. Minako did kill herself, or not?

I love this show! I've been a big Sailor Moon fan since I was little so when I saw this drama a year ago, it set me for life.

Personally, I really didn't like Minako. Her character was too cold and robotic to me. Favorite character, the guy obsessed with the turtles. He was great. hehe

I've started watching this with my daughter. It's cute, but it's difficult to read my daughter the subtitles sometimes. I make her read most of them using Le Pause Button, but every so often when it's my turn, it's rough to be a 33 year old man belting out to my daughter's delight:

MOON! PRISM! POWER!

That's when My Lovely Wife smirks at me. Well, I'll have my revenge - someday my daughter will be old enough to watch older anime and Jdorama with, and I'll have my revenge Wink.

Mine's 7 - she can read most of them, but words like "priestessess" and "incident" and "antidisestablishmentarianism" tend to give her a hard time. We'll probably read "The Cat Returns" later - today I gave her a daddy-daughter talk about the difference between comic books, graphic novels, and manga.

Ah, little geekette in training. She will so lay *siege* to conventions when she's older Wink.

"antidisestablishmentarianism"? LOL I can just picture Usagi-chan trying to say that.

I have the feeling poor Usagi would fall asleep halfway through the word.

We're on Episode 3 right now. For some reason, she doesn't buy my theory that Rei is really out to kill the whole lot of them with her killer eyebrow stare.

My girls have watched up to Ep 20. I've burned 21-24 to DVD, but they haven't seen them yet. Also i've downloaded 25-28, which have to be burned to DVD.

Yep, Rei does have a killer stare lol.

Yes Minakok was a little robotic, she wasn't like in the anime or in the manga. But to tell the truth she thought in the manga too that she's the princess for the first time.

The guy with the turtles is Motoki. He was the boy who Usagi fall in love in the anime and worked in a Game Center. But it was really strange that he fall in love with Makoto.

Yes, the cats are really kawaii. But I didn't understand, why the creators made about Luna Sailor Luna?! It wasn't a really good idea I think. But the girl was cute.

at first I thought Luna (human-version) was Chibi - Usagi... but she has tail!!! It's not Chibi-Usagi it's Luna!!! and she can transform into Sailor Luna... bleh bleh
If I not mistaken, Luna has human version too in manga, but not as a kid...

I'm currently watching this drama and I think it is... um... different. A little weird, those enemies look like power ranger's monsters, don't they?. Fortunately, Sailor Mars, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus are so cute, mamacitas! And Queen Beryl is a sexy mature lady, apachurro! Naughty
