But sometimes, the singles contain music versions that are different from regular album versions, so it's frustrating sometimes when they record different versions in the albums. For instance, Hyde's first 3 singles when he went solo. Those coffin like jewel cases are to die for I think! Plus, the music arrangment is different too. And I just have to have that velvet-cover full length album of his too! And there goes my money.

Just spent like hundreds again for J-pop albums this month, Naohito Fujiki's concert DVD alone is close to US$100, sigh... Collecting CDs is my hobby so I have only myself to blame. But I only buy those that I like, not buying every single that they churn out. Bought a load of Mika Nakashima's stuff this month too plus her music scores, she's my current flavor of the month. Good thing Taiwan online stores offer cheaper versions (official licensed copies), a little saving here and there helps.

Yeah, i think I'm a sucker too, Crazy But so long as the music is good, I normally don't mind buying them. The nice packaging is a bonus.

It's really hard to justify spending $20+ for an album, $10+ for a single, and $30+ for a DVD. But sometimes you can't help it. That being said, I've imported a couple...

- Bonnie Pink: I own all her albums, singles (they're worth getting considering that the C/W songs don't appear on her albums), DVDs, some LPs, and other CDs she was featured in.

- Anime OSTs: Soundtracks from Rurouni Kenshin, Haibane Renmei, TEXHNOLYZE, and Serial Experiments Lain.

- Spitz: "Hana Tori Kaze Tsuki" because it was heavily slashed in price at YesAsia.

- Yaida Hitomi: "The First Reflection" DVD.

- Hamasaki Ayumi: Some of her older albums and singles. My sister is a big fan of hers and I've ended up giving her some.

- Shibata Jun: "Anata to no Hibi" (Limited Edition) because of the included DVD and postcard.

There are a whole mess more albums and DVDs I'd like to buy of the above artists and other artists I have mp3s of (especially of Syrup16g...I recently got hooked to their stuff), but I need to save up some more money first.

I've only heard of Shiina Ringo's "Stem" and it's pretty good. Smile

Poks, you have so many KinKi Kids' album... I suppose you're intending to get the G album as well? Just noticed that D.Tsuyoshi is going to have a solo song called "Orange" in G album "24/7" Big Grin
