After I watched Saimin (Hypnosis) I was impressed with Asaka Seto's acting skill. She can be either an angel or a devil.

I like her alot too, in fact I favor her over the likes of Matsu Takako and even over Nanako Matsushima
Too bad she isn't very popular? I don't see her starring as the main character in many dramas and she doesn't make many dramas I believe...

yah i tink asaka seto is in a class of her own, very different fr the matsu takako category, or the nanako sect.....not the esumi sort either, but definitely with an appeal all her own. hiakz....
watched the tokyo university drama she acted in with goro, narita divorce, Hynopsis, and find that she's very alluring, in her own way... the only thing that's keeping me from bullets of love, is er, leon lai (no offence to his fans out there). hope i can overcome my, ahem, fears to get a chance to appreciate the film......=P

If you are an Asaka fan, you should watch Seto's movie "Bullet of love". It was great! Again she has demonstrated that she has a wide "range" in acting skill. I am sure that the Hong Kong movie maker must have watched the drama Hynopsis. I can see the similarity between the two shows.

I like Seto Asaka and Esumi Makiko. I agree that both have different style in acting.....Esumi the more expressive one and Seto the more natural one.

I like Boy Hunt. Even though the story is not as interesting, but I think Seto Asaka did a good job in the show. Bullet of Love is great! She did a good job and so is Saimin and most of the shows she acted in.

This show may seems a little foreign to people. It's Hareki Koko Ichiban, starring Seto Asaka and Mitsuhiro Oikawa. Since I am a great, fanatic, crazy, psychotic (pardon me) fan of Mitsuhiro Oikawa, I have watched this show many times. Seto Asaka is a strong headed woman, pairing with the nerdy Mitsuhiro Oikawa. I would recommend this to Mitsuhiro Oikawa's fans cos he is really different in this show if you know his weirdo style. Seto's performance is just average.

i like seto asaka too! i'm quite surprised that nobody mention the drama "Tomodachi no Koibito". It's one of my favourite seto asaka shows. It's interesting to see how she changed from a tom-boy to a super seductive woman. Highly highly recommend....

She also acted as a bad character in the NHK dorama "Mayonaka wa Betsu na Kao" (the other side of midnight). A pity there're no vcds on that...

That's the show I was talking about. I watched it over VCDs for the main purpose of watching Mitsuhiro Oikawa in a nerdy role. :)

I think it is a aspirational cum romance show. We would know how the two leads become successful. In fact, love develops slowly and isn't very much indicated in the show. It is not a comedy, but some scenes can be quite funny, some quite touching (e.g. when Oikawa meets his father who have left him a long time ago.)

i used to adore her alot because my first ever J-drama that i watched was "Narita Rikon".

of course, this only lasted till i saw Matsu Takako in Long Vacation.
