so are any of you goning to order or have ordered the news calendar? what kinda of calendar is it?
noodlefreak-san lol oooo must be so much fun in harajuku!!! i've been there a few times and i can't wait to go again!! i'm definatley going to do that!! omg takeshita doori is amazing!! its so packed but it has like curtains and walls of pics of all these idols when they weree young and everything!! it was amazing!! lol there all not like the actual official pics but still!! i had so much fun there and they have liike goods that are like "jacket that smaps kimutaku wore in goodluck" and all that kinda stuff the rest is like second hand clothing etc. but still so much fun and i have all my relatives in japan so i can always ask them to buy something for me but i can't jiust rely on them and it'll be a bother to them so i try not to

i ordered the NEWS calendar but im also wondering... is it a monthly calendar thats just the japan school yr rather than the calendar yr? OR is it a school calendar planner type thing?! gosh i was hoping it'd be like a planner cuz that would be hotttttttttttttt and so many more pics but im starting to think its a monthly one... ive never ordered it before tho so im not sure... does anyone know?

i also cant find NEWS stuff around here either... iw as thinking about getting a subscription to one of the mags, but then.. now that johnny has does this stupid thing i dont know if its worth it, if they're still gonna be in the mags and all that. so i decided to hold off. but i guess its a good thing for me cuz if there was a place to get magazines.. my bank account would be... nonexistent!! but when i go home every few months, ill def check out the new york city bookstore.. hopefully they'll have more mags in stock next time i visit!!! _________________

yes magazine subscriptions lol i wanted to do it but then i have to have them send it to my cousins house or something and then mail all the way here so i decided not to too
awww i kinda want to though! i wish johnny''s had like a international fan club for the bands instead of just japan like i bet lots and lots of people that don't live in japan want to be in the ffanclub but i guess thats just too bad for us....
ya i was wondering how the calendar works too so is it like ya is it monthly or what? and i think its just called a school calendar cuz its startst he montht hat school starts? whihc in japan is april? in canada school starts in september yes have way through the year already!!! *cough cough* umm well i havn't ordered one before either its going to be my first but i reeallllllly really want it so i guess i'll order it lol is there like anything special that comes with it?

I went crazy on Takeshita Doori. My parents were like "okay we'll just stop by there for a few minutes to see it" because Takeshita is actually my family name so yeah lol. But then I when I saw all the stores with like YamaPi and others on the walls AND ceilings...i ended up staying there for more than a couple of minutes.

haha I know what you mean. There aren't any jbookstores real close to my house, so when I do go to one, I end up spending so much money on magazines haha

AH! I live like an hour from LA so I go down there a lot! There's a kinokuniya by downtown LA. They have a couple of cute shops around too and food, but it's kinda dead around their except for the summer festival where all the hot guys come out. ( >____< ) V There's a bigger kinokuniya at 3030 Harbor blvd. about 10 min away from the costa mesa mall. They have TONS of stuff! I suggest going there if you really wanna look around. I heard that Torrance is where a lot of J people go too. Recently heard of a street called Sawtelle LA/Santa Monica ish that has lots of J import clothing in stuff. Can't wait to go there!!! =P hope that helps with your J-stuff needs!
