Its sad that Gachi Baka didnt do so well, but then, the plot wasnt much to talk about. The only reason I watched it was because of Tegoshi and Massu, so I guess those who arent their fans wouldnt have watched it.

Attention Please might just have done good because of Ueto Aya. Though for some kind of unknown reason I dont like her much (heheh), she is quite an established actress and has a fanbase. and of course, Ryo has a large fanbase too. But fans alone wont be able to keep up the high ratings. The plot itself has to be strong. The 2nd episodes ratings will reveal all.. heheh

Without SC, the juniors definitely will be left with nothing to do, so I too doubt that they'll stop it. But, the golden age of Johnny's might have just come to an end. Regarding the juniors I mean. Now that KT have debuted, they dont really have juniors in there that have strong pulling power do they? To me, only Ya-Ya-yah are standing out at the moment. Technically, the debuted groups shouldnt have had any hand in the SCs except for guest appearances (at least, this is what I think), but NEWS had to come back for the past SCs. Maybe the juniors are too inexperienced and it was nice to see NEWS again, but that kinda left the other juniors still in the shadows.

Anyways, why do I feel like there's less and less to talk about NEWS as a whole?

the thing about being called news is that when googled, u come up with all topics about news, but its never the news that u want. so u sift through all the news, searching for news about news, but even that is hard to find.
so how do u separate news from the news?
which news is news and which news is NEWS?

Yeah, its sad that GB didnt do well... The plot wasnt so original, since theres already doramas that have difficult class and stuff. But to me, it was really good. I loved the tri-angle bethween Minoru, Kouta and Kana. But I think that even though the ratings werent that good, I know that there is lots of people who loved the show. I believe that the "stars" of GB are happy too^^

Hmm, yeah I think Ueto is one reason too. heh, I didnt like her that much either before I saw the dorama, but she is really good as the boyish girl in Attention Please. She still doesnt look like a boy at all, lol, I dont know who theyre gonna fool with "boyish" Aya. But anyways, probably its the acting that makes her boyish. Ok whoops I kinda went off-topic Ryotan of course has a large fanbase too, because of his previous doramas. Still the plot has to be good, and I think it is^^ But like you said, we will know the "true" ratings when 2nd episodes are out. Im confident of Attention Please's good ratings, unless the drama gets boring.

About Shokura again. I think that KAT-TUN is not the strenght of the show. Definately not. I have watched last two SC eps, and to be honest, they ruin the image of it. The place is full of juniors, some like 10-year-olds, and then KT comes to do their "sexy fanservice". In some parts I was disgusted, because thats not what Shokura should be. Of course sexy solos are ok, but like Koki and Junno going all over themselfs on stage. it goes off-limit I think. The strenght of SC is juniors, thats what the show is about. Its a way for juniors to gain more publicity, before debuting. Its true that there may not be a group to take place yet, but how are they gonna get strong if they cant even try?

I usually just add Johnny's after the actual search word NewS. That should give more pages to the search. You can also try to add a members name to the search^^

The onigokko final was the 2006.26.03 and 2006.02.04 it had Shige and Koyama, the oni were comedians. I love watching the ones with Kusano in them, they are always hilarious, my favorite is the one where he struck a deal with the oni in the elevator, lol. Kusano is so baka and boy can that boy run fast!

Ah, I finally saw Attention Please, I thought Aya did a good job with her character. This is pretty amusing drama (even though I didn't understand what I was laughing at ) but the physical comedy was funny, haha. I didn't even noticed Ryotan was walking behind Aya unitl she bumped into him he blended to well, haha. Yeah, Ryotan didn't have a lot of lines in the first episode but I know he has a vital role so can't wait to see this drama progress so Ryotan can have more scenes!
Anywayz I can't believe the theme song is "Pretty Woman" lol, I guess it fits with the drama, but it was still sorta random

I have not watched the two latest SC yet, they are still sitting in my computer. From the past SC, I never really liked it when KAT-TUN produced, NewS was better in my opinion.

Oh does anybody know if anybody is going to sub Busu no Hitomi??

yeah, it was hilarious when Kusano was in the elevator with the oni. the look on his face when the doors opened was just priceless. I like that one as well, but mostly because of Tegoshi being very spirited and determined in there. Haha.. but he's determined in all the oni games..

the NEWS-produced SCs were definitely better. Somehow the themes struck the right chord with all of the people involved and were more..erm.. group-oriented?, I should say. KTs themes seemed to be more individualistic.

ahh.. if anyone has a pic of Shige wearing that crown, I'll jump for joy. He looked really cute in the prince outfit. and I've started calling him Prince Shige.. heheh. Partly because of Koyama mentioning it in his jweb. Remembering that entry of his makes me laugh all over again.. haha
