Pi's "Love Song" is really nice, but personally, "Time" has to be his best solo song ever. I'm pretty sure he only performed it once though, on the 2004.05.09 Shounen Club. I'm really hoping that this song gets but on a single one day, it's seriously so beautiful T_T

#1. Yume no kazu dake ai ga umareru : My favourite song It's just so sweet and comforting to listen to. Especially the acapella version ^^ it's WOAH. Plus the lyrics are meaningful too.
#2. DREAMS: This song is beautiful. And i really find it a pity that NEWS don't perform this song often
#3 Cherish: Ahh. they sound so together here. And happy
#4 I.ZA.NA.I.ZU.KI: A different style from most of their other songs and i like it <3
#5 Love Song: Ah, i will so fall in love should someone sing this to me. Nice composition by yamapi! And one of the songs he sings really nicely in
#6 Nandex2 Damex2: really cute and catchy song!

One thing we should keep in mind about Yamapi's prevalence in NEWS, for those who might not agree that he's talented/charismatic/whatever... It's not at all Yamapi's decision. He doesn't choose to get solos or camera time or drama roles or anything. Johnny does. That's the thing about JE, the boys don't run their own careers. They're run for them. So if anyone out there doesn't like Yamapi because they think he's taking up too much camera time or whatever, that's not fair to him because he's not the one making that decision. Just my two cents. ^_^
Ha ha, Nandex2 Dame is such a catchy song. You just can't help but like it. I absolutely love Dreams. <3 And NEWS Nippon. And Hadashi no Cinderalla Boy. And Kirameki no Kanata e. I can't really choose a favorite.

No, you silly goose. I just realised that you know, i came in with zero knowlege, well, ok....1% knowledge about anyone in NEWS, except maybe shige and then started analysing everybody.
I guess, after watching the "dedication" video on YOUTUBE like, 1 000 times, i kind of felt like 'attached' to them, and started thinking, you know, i don't even know half about them and i'm analysing who's this and who's that.
i like them. they're good. but yeah, i get carried away sometimes. Get it?

If ppl dislike Yamapi b/c they are jealous of him getting more attention.......I think they are aiming their jealous at the wrong person.......When NewS formed at the beginning, many ppl didn't think he can handle the job of the team leader, for everyone who knows him are well aware that Yamapi was a very quiet person, he always chose to stand aside and keep quiet. We can see that when he was still w/ 4Tops......he always left all the talking to 3Tops, especially to Toma. If Yamapi wants to show off himself, he can grab all the talking chance like the K in KT does......but rather he just let Koyama does all the talking for the team........but even so, the camera just still chasing after him instead, so what else could he do? He already try not to stand out that much.......I am not telling ppl to dislike Koyama (I like him, he's cute and funny), but if you wanna dislike or be jealous at someone who steal the spotlight, Koyama may be a better target.......^^;; For he's the 2nd last one who enter Johnny's, everyone except Tegoshi is his senpai, but yet, he got the MOST exposure among NewS members besides Yamapi.........

yeshh.. NEWS songs have been playing over and over again in my mind ever since 6 months ago when i got into NEWS. I know there was a period of time when i kept bursting out "nande nande? dame dame?" to my classmate sitting next to me at the most random moments. And haha.. it may be good to find out the english translations of the songs!

you know what, i am going mad with teppen in my head, and it started this morning. It's like "da da da da, yo mone....daa...daa...otare ....taru." Sheesh, i don't know if i'm sounding gross, but ...that's it.
all the while .... with massu's face singing in my brain. oh yeah, yamapi too....
the shige thing? i was reading stuff about an Indonesian fan's life, and she was writing about SHIGE. how she loved him now, totally besotted by him - though she initially thot he was 'jelek', or kind of like "uuuuuggggh, yuck! get away from me!"....know what i mean?
it was sensory overload, coz after that, it was like "SHIGE SHIGE SHIGE" in my head. Thank GOD it was just that once. but now, there's teppen!!! ARRRGGGH! _________________

Eh.. I think you misunderstood me. I don't dislike Yamapi, in fact he's my 3rd favourite in NEWS after ryochan and teshi.
What i said earlier about getting jealous of Yamapi took place when i was merely a week into NEWS and had totally no prior knowledge about their characters. I think it's quite normal for one to think, "EH! Why is that guy always in the centre" and get a little sad because her favourite is ryochan (from watching dramas) yet yamapi just kept appearing..
Yup, thanks for enlightening us of another side of yamapi though I have been watching a lot of fancams lately, and from what i observe, yamapi (as well as tegoshi and massu) doesn't talk much in the emcee portions *and yes, kei-chan talks the most*. Can't blame kei-chan though, he has a really extroverted character. And honestly, i think he plays a big role in getting rid of the awkward silent moments in conversations. *NEWS members are introverted in general, ne?* ^^
Talking about Yamapi, i always have this feeling that he's keeping a lot of things to himself. Although he's one of the most active bloggers in his jwebs, his entries always seem to centre around food and nothing much of his feelings. What do you all think?

It's ok, I wasn't saying those stuff directly to you only.......just to all those who may have a little misunderstanding about Yamapi......And I can understand why you made such comment earlier b/c you didn't really get to know them.....it's ok. As time pass and you learn more about every member, you'll grow to love them all.......Btw, Ryo-chan is my 2nd favorite member ne! Actually I knew Ryo-chan before I knew Yamapi......But sorry to tell you, in case you haven't found out yet, Ryo-chan is also Kansai 8 member, so there are many many NewS activities that you wouldn't see him participate, especially in the early years after NewS formed......Ryo-chan seem to appear in more NewS activities after Uchi's suspension........
And yea, I do appreciate Koyama's MC, too. He's a really good MC, and he save the members from dead air......yea, NewS members are mostly very quiet......I remember the last time all 8 members went to HeyHeyHey interview and 2 Kansai 8 members Yokoyama and the other guy I forgot his English name came as their guests to talk about NewS. Just less than 10sec after the Kansai 8 members started talking, the host already couldn't stop laughing and pointed out that everyone in NewS are dead quiet while these two guys keep talking and talking very LOUDLY and PASSIONATELY..........LOL
Hm....about Yamapi keeping lots of things to himself.......sometimes he does.......but if you read his diary on JWEB in the past few weeks, he's been talking a lot about his feeling......some ppl said it has something to do w/ the departure of his Best Friend Jin.......whatever the reason, he really talked a lot recently........and you can learn more about him in his articles he writes for Seventeen magazine.......
