Yamapifans: thanks for the info.. I don't remember that Yamapi have single for Daite Senorita since I have the song already.. well its was a nice song actually... is there any other song? accept this two?

Yes, both limited & regular edition include the song he wrote & compose by himself -- "Yubiwa". It's a very very nice song, but the version recorded in the CD is somehow different from the original version he performed in Shounen Club and concerts several years ago. The music has changed a bit. We were shocked the first time we listened to it. Personally think the original is better.

hello! i'm back from out of town! how's everybody? wowzers, we're on the 820s already since i last visited..... Dancing

good news ~ remember a few pages back someone asked how many friends of ours liked (or even knew NEWS)? I had previously shared the YOUTUBE fanvid of them with the Yume song entitled Dedication, and my friend thought it was pretty cool. We hadn't known it then, but i think this person was rather interested. but she got turned off a bit when she noted they weren't as hunky as the Korean guys we usually watch. Naughty

Then, last weekend, I had my VEOH video (on my laptop)....and wham bang - i think that's the point she started liking them more. I promised to send her stuff on them today. hehe

Well, that's my teeny weeny microbe bit of contribution to NEWS, adding 1 more fan-to-be in Malaysia. Hope there'll be more. Fingers crossed

Oh yeah, anyone who's got new stuff, where the guys are a little hunkier than before - can you please upload here so i can send out to more of my Korean-watching friends? (They are used to watching those muscular Koreans, so watching younger (and skinner) Japanese guys may not exactly be the greatest turn on immediately. but having said that, WE CAN'T SEE THE FUTURE : who knows - my friends are gonna be even bigger fans than me!).

Hahahahah... i knew it! It's Uchi!!! Uchi looks so good in this dorama but he looks horrible in NEWS PVs!

Just imagine, all those sponsors like KDDI etc. sponsoring a dorama which they thought will be a big hit since it has 2 pretty-face in it; one of them gets drunk and suspended, and turns out the dorama was a bit cliche and boring. bleh

haha yeah. i think the only highlights of ganbatte ikimasshoi were ryo and uchi (to save the weak plot). Well it was satisfying just watching the drama for ryo. *lol in black tights* *ahh so hot!*

uchi? I always thought he looked good.

Evidence:

I was contemplating whether to like uchi or ryo more when i first started watching ganbatte ikimasshoi and saburo turned ugly (because uchi was changed to junno!! and gosh i seriously didn't notice at first because i was very very new to JE) so i turned my attention fully to sekki (ryo).

Stupid dorama. Doesn't even feel like a 'sport' dorama but rather just a series of unfortunate events. A spin off for Jim Carey? rofl

After watching this, StandUp episode 7-11 sound like one hell of a fun dorama, i'm gonna change my score in the review. Applaud

Heyy lizakajang!! Well done for converting your friend Smile

Ehh... hunkier guys? I guess the only ones from NEWS that would fit would be Yamapi and maybe Massu?

Well HMMM.. I suggest you show your friend the Daite Senorita performance of Yamapi Smile

Talking about hunkiness, i much prefer the skinnier ones. Bulging muscles are disgusting. The best is a particular skinny guy with 6-pec. hehe

wellllll....at last someone responded! hello, how are you? what's this about shit coming outta someone's eyes? can't i leave you for 2 seconds without such things.....aiyoyo.... Mr Green

anyways, you might be proud of me...well, at least i hope. i had done a NEWS PROFILE for them, complete with a bit of history (well, more like an overview, rather than history), with pictures etc. It's like a mini reference material for them to just see who is who and what each member is good at. i even sent them the MISO SOUP song and the lyrics.....at least they will understand the engrish....well, hopefully.

oh BTW, forgot to tell you. my friend likes KUSANO. or at least her first fleeting impression of kusano. the first thing that crossed my mind when she pointed to him onscreen was "MONTA!". Mr Green

let's hope NEWS comes back soon....as the fan base grows! Fingers crossed

Hey monta. sometimes you're like RYO y'know. no, not coz you're hot. but because you are really just a big softie with a heart deep inside. but you don't want to show it, so you act really tough. Hmmm... so you are a normal guy, after all...... Puppy Dog Eyes

hehe oh yeah, getting more guys is not exactly the easiest, but i'll c what i can do. Yeah

actually massu's ok. so is yamapi. but dunno about them being hunky. sometimes, i guess being un-hunky could be sexy too.... huh?

and yeah, the MISO SOUP video does tend to stick... were they performing on the streets? were they escorted by a whole crowd and crew from Japan? must be costly. JE-sponsored the trip, i suppose. how much coverage did they get?

hey you know what, MONTA : remember the time i asked why on earth did they have to go to Sweden to launch their CD, actually, it's a brilliant marketing strategy.

i mean : look at it this way :

a) who doesn't know Japan? everyone does. Europeans may also look towards Japan for their products, including electronic and electrical goods. now, take the concept a bit further, Japan is also a fairly modern country with lots of people being more 'mentally exposed' compared to maybe the tighter Malaysia.

so if you have a lot more people looking at entertainment, and people growing tired of the normal Caucasion people....they can always look for the Asian entertainers, and what better niche market for Japan!

b) Sweden is also known for its 'freedom' : quite a liberalised country - that. so there may be more openings - in various components of the 'entertainment' business.

maybe hantuwriter would be a better person to advise on this : but at a glance, I don't foresee the same opening available for TEGOMASS or NEWS if the launch were held in the UK, for example. They might make ripple, of course, but not that great a tidal wave, since London itself is brimming with lots of singers and bands.

c) look at the Japanese people located all over the globe. they are also a ready audience for the Japanese entertainment. besides, a lot of Asians living in Europe may also go for the Asian look that TEGOMASS has.

d) by going to sweden, TEGOMASS are actually laying the foundation for NEWS to cross over into Europe in the future.

I MAY BE WAAAAY OFF, hope someone will comment.

anyways, CONGRATULATIONS TO TEGO AND MASSU : GOOD JOB. VERY BRAVE of them both!
