Well well.. just as we were getting sad about uchi not returning, another new rumour popped up. Got this from shatteredtenshi of abaka:
Apparently, there's this petition thing for uchi set up by some fans and Uchi supposedly left a message there.
And the message was basically about uchi thanking his fans for supporting him all along and he ended with
"Thank you for all those who took part in this signing activity but i hope you all won't continue. Because.. I'm coming back."
Just thought i would share it over here:) Of course, like all other rumours, we know the amount of truth to expect from it

Guess what? In other forum, saw the same petition thing, but the message said to be left by Uchi has diff version, saying he just resigned the job that day and he won't come back.........^^;; same Japanese message but two exactly diff translation..........^^;;
And there's rumor saying NewS won't have 2007-2008 calendar.........@_@

Awww all this speculation is scaring me..if Uchi never comes back i'll be crushed...NEWS has to come back w/all 8 people..they just have too...Also I sense a few Kame dislikers in here from some of the past posts..i get the feeling that some people don't like him or something...(I'm not a Kame fan but I like him hehehe i'm on a NwP high..).
I'm currently watching NwP and I love Yamapi!! He's moved up from being my least favorite NEWS member...heheeehe he's hilarious in this show... _________________

Well, all I can say is, let the rumours stay as just rumours. Believing them does more harm than good, especially when they are 'bad' rumours. As long as there aren't any official announcements, you can choose to believe whatever you want to believe and have faith. Regardless of what the real translation of the message is, there is the high possibility that the message wasn't even written by Uchi ^^;;. The fact that the two translations are direct opposites of each other is reason enough to be suspicious
As for wanting NEWS to come back as 8, I think that's what we all want. But, if Uchi and/or Kusano have chosen not to involve themselves in the entertainment world anymore, then let's respect that decision.

I think the reason for the different "translation" was due to the last sentence "I'm coming back" where some interpret as he's going back home and not coming back to JE anymore.
But well hantuwriter is right.. Anyone can leave a message there and put his/her name as uchi hiroki.
Oh wells. Let's just wait a little more and the truth shall unfold..

HEHE Akira's one of the reason why Pi's in my top 3 now. I just love his crazy ways (swinging his arms when walking down the stairs, pulling up the pants of shuji, leaning on others shoulders and doing the kon thing, getting drunk on soy bean milk etc etc).

I just ignore those messages that are supposedly from Uchi. Like jess, anyone could just put the name Hiroki Uchi and leave a message. Kind of makes me irritated to think someone is even impersonating him (anyone really..).
Feels like forever til January of next year when all of NEWS is coming back... I just better hope I won't be disappointed again! Since I was all expecting Uchi to come back in September.^^;

YES too many hints were left about uchi's return.. especially the one in a magazine where the k8 members left a message and the first character of each of their message asked fans to wait patiently for uchi's return
