Saying that one thing is better than another is one thing. Saying that one thing/person is going to be the next so and so is a totally different thing altogether. It's not about the one and only feeling, as you say it.
Comparing popularity is not easy. Let's say that A is an established and accomplished artiste with a large fanbase. Then, along comes B, a new and rising artiste who easily gains an even larger fanbase within a short period of time. You can't just easily say that B is more popular than A. You've got to look which kind of audience the two of them appeal to as well. A may have a larger hold on the older age groups and cross-gender. B may appeal more to teenagers.
Then, you've got to look at how that popularity was gained. Did B have a larger fanbase because of his skills or because of his personality? Or was it because he simply had more marketing and more exposure? Did A struggle to get himself known, starting from the very bottom of the entertainment industry and did B just shoot straight to the top with the help of influential insiders? Comparisons are just not as easy as you think they are.
You can't say that B is going to be the next A either. Because they are two different individuals. It doesn't matter if B exceeds A in terms of popularity, B will just never be A, and A will never be B.

nah heard that johnny's boys (unless they are seriously popular like kimutaku) don't get much. Most of the money from concerts/singles etc doiesn't go to them. Most of the money comes from CMs and dramas i think, and for people like say shige who doesn't get a lot of those.. It's even worse if they haven't debuted.

my fave? well i started to take notice of jpop stuff cos of nobuta wo produce so my fave, naturally yamapi eh.. haha.. but recently i grown to like many from NewS also, like massu, tegoshi n koyama =)
yupyup, i tink the craze now in singapore (actually anywhere) is kpop bahs, but i do know several jpop lovers, who influenced me into liking jpop, haha.. but seriously i m so addicted to j-stuff now.. lol..

g'morning. I had the good fortune of finding this place called pretty.boys etc on NEWS members, and it had songs from the TOUCH album plus PVs and performances by some of its members.
I am not very good with how to best say this, but to the guys/girls who put it up, I SAY ARIGATOU. you've done me at least a wonderful, wonderful favour, especially the one who has put so much effort into Shigeaki's page. thank you x 1000000000000!
the ONLY drawback is that the perfomances section, they seem to get 'stuck'. if there's anyone who has the following performances, could you please upload them?
