Sorry if I misunderstood you.....just a feeling I got when I read your 1st message.....couldn't help but think why out of all Japanese singers you only pick NewS......Anyway, like I said before, Miso Soup should be able to show the Japanese accents of English. Other Japanese songs only has 1 or 2 sentences, even just few English words sometimes, can't demonstrate anything.

Kat-tun will have concerts in Tokyo Big Dome on 6/2, 6/3, 6/16 & 6/17.
Kanjani 8 will start their nationwide concerts in May. They will be the 2nd group after SMAP who can have concert in all 47 jurisdictions/districts in Japan. (something like 50 states of USA). So I guess the concerts will be still in progress in June (probably need at least 3 months to finish the whole tour?) But no fixed schedule for that yet.

But it's very hard to buy Johnny's concert tickets for foreigners. All tickets are reserved for You & J fans club members only. And members' names are printed on the tickets assigned to the members. So if you buy the ticket personally from the members (usually bid online), there's still chance that the security guides may check the tickets randomly and ask you to leave. I can't afford that much money and take such risk.....Wish you good luck.

I'm glad that Massu's acting has improved a bit from when he did Dandori. His acting in Dandori was a bit For Dandori, I guess ep5 is the one that has the most Massu scenes in it, since it's pretty much centred around him.

You don't know about You & J? Emma, where have you been?
It's a fanclub for NEWS, K8 and KT. I think you need to have a japanese address to join. You could ask your brother's friend to help you I guess, since it's easier to get tickets if you're a fanclub member.

Johnny's debute groups each have their own fans club. Like V6 fans club, Takki&Tsubasa fans club, Arashi fans club......For the old groups each of them have individual fans club. But groups debute after Takki&Tsubasa, which are NewS, Kat-tun, and Kanjani 8, they are tied together to share 1 fans club, named "You & J". In other words, joining You & J = joining fans clubs of NewS, Kat-tun, & K8 at the same time.

Enrollment fee=1000yen; annual membership fee=4000yen
Total 5000yen for joining any Johnny's fans club
Concert ticket is around 6300yen each.

Please keep in mind that joining fans club still doesn't 100% guarantee you can go to their concert. After joining the fans club, you have to sign up for concert tickets, and then wait for Johnny's lottery. B/c seats are limited, they give out tickets by name-picking randomly. If you are not lucky, you may not get picked for the tickets. And seats are assigned to you, you have no choice where to sit. And number of tickets you can buy is also limited. And there are 30+ more rules you have to follow........

Really hate Johnny's such procedures. Too restrictive too harsh......So if you are not addicted to the artists to the level where you are willing to take all risk and spend whatever amount of money and if you are not lucky enough, going to their concerts in Japan is a dream even harder to come true than seeing Tegomass in Sweden....

Oh, wait, no, let me amend 1 thing......actually there's still chance to see Johnny's concert in Japan w/o being a fans club member, but the chance is really really really slim. Sometimes, just sometimes, they allow non-member to purchase concert tickets, but usually just the older groups. As far as I know, NewS, Kat-tun and Kanjani8 concerts never open for nonmembers.

Unfortunately, yes. Not just You&J, SC, and ya3, but ALL TV shows that ALL Johnny's artists host or be a guest (including HeyHeyHey), are all for fans club members only and by lottery. But I am not sure if there's any other way to get the admission to those shows besides getting tickets from Johnny's, b/c you know, there are artists outside Johnny's appear in the same TV shows, too. (like w-inds and WaT) Don't know how the fans of those non-Johnny's artists go to those TV shows......

I've always wondered what it would be like to be an audience during the recording of Domoto Kyoudai or HeyHeyHey, to be able to watch everything unedited XD. But of course, watching it on TV when they put in the special effects makes it funnier .

Hmm, K8 national tour will start in May and ends in September, so that's a whole 5 months for the tour. Actually K8 are the first Johnnys to ever make a tour to the whole 47 prefectures, even SMAP ave never been to all 47, BUT K8 are definitely the second Johnnys to ever stage a concert in Okinawa, after SMAP some years ago.
