I looked up the words and found the following:

̌ = first sexual experience (only definition given)

_ = bold | daring | audacious

 = confession | acknowledgement

Does the caption really mean that? Or could ̌ mean something else?

Thanks.

not all the mods here are fluent in Japanese.

Kokuou is usually the one who answers the questions, but he/she might not be paying a visit to the forum daily, so you'll have to patient.

If a member here knows the answer to your question, he/she will answer it.

The mods aren't being paid at all, AFAIK. Although, they would probably appreciate it if you were offering Smile

*Edit*

As I have no knowledge of Hiragana, Katakana or Kanji - how do you know where one word or phrase begins and another ends? In the example above, it's written as one continuous line Smile ?

It means nothing.

It's probably a botched up try at "new" (V), but it's missing the right side.
The katakana below it says "Renova," but I don't know what that means either.
This is why you NEVER get a tattoo in a lanugage you don't understand, unless it came from a source you trust.
(I also just asked my bf about the tattoo in Mandarin, and apparent it doesn't mean anything in Chinese, either.)

Oh, and we have a thread for these kind of things, so please use that one.

HTH,
