btw Tu_triky hve u watched the doramma Ai to Shi Wo Mitsumete *2006*?? hirosue ws in that as the lead actress and she gave a awesome performance..based on a true story and only 2 eps. 2 hrs per ep,,and really really sad story line but if u havent watched it, recommended

Thanks, KAZdoramma. I haven't seen any doramas with Ryoko Hirosue in a long time, only films. I'll try to check out your recommendation.
Have you seen the film Bubble Fiction, Ryoko Hirosue with Abe Hiroshi....that movie was really, really funny. Mecha omoshirookashii.

I actually saw Okuribito locally in the movie theater subbed in English, it showed in theaters only because it won the Foreign Language Academy Award and I live in a large metropolitan film market, i.e. Los Angeles.

no probs...she plays a girl with a terminal illness,,real sad but good,,and no i really want to see bubble fiction!!!!! i ll definitely check it out now that uve mentioned it!! cheers!!!

o and her recent doamma was TRIANGLE, really enjoyed it..again she ws a lead actress and played along side eguchi yosuke,,this one generally has great great casts and a good mystery. Came out earlier this year...i majorly recommend this one if u havent watched it

I saw that one, it was good. After such a heavy drama, I watched her in Oyaji and then Wasabi.
