A pretty good single layer... It wasn't too hot and there was a slight breeze every now and then, but the sun stills beats on you... My face is slightly reddened and not from the sake shots we had there.

maybe two layers...LA smog, and all the other stuff, from the smoke grill of the chicken they were selling on the street, and stuff inbetween.
the sake helped a little, but 3 ounces wasn't enough. hehe

You can get Sho Chiku Bai at Longs for $6. I can't remember the size though. I was actually surprised they carry them. Course, they put it next to the Port Wine. Why, I have no idea.

Yeah, they carry a lot of alcohol, but it tends to be Vodka, Whiskey, Tequila, and Wines. Not much Asian fare.

They've always carried that stuff. They're known for their pharmacy and over-the-counter section, but really, they try to be like the corner store...or more like walmart now adays.

True true. I'm not much of a drinker myself. The only shot I've done is a b52, and even then I could only have three.
