Which is why I'm not well-traveled at all... And that's an understatement.
You just can't let it dictate your actions. Just 'cause earthquakes make me feel nervous, doesn't mean I'm gonna avoid L.A. or Japan or the other numerous countries that suffer them.
And besides, the fear of the unknown lasts as long as it's unknown. Experience will make the fear go away. _________________

exactly food safety and diarrhea don't make you nervous hence your trip to China j/k.
I don't think experience makes fear go away in all circumtances...getting shot at or living through an earthquake doesn't necessarily make someone less fearful of such things.
ask those ppl who survived that collapsed bridge in MN....you think they're less fearful of that happening....just playing the devil's advocate.

So true. What I meant, and I shoulda clarified, is the fear of the unknown goes with the realization of the known. After that, you'll prolly fear the known, but at least the unknown is no longer there. Does that make sense? _________________
